DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (PNG) is in Dawson Creek, heading house to house to inspect gas meters.
In a statement, Dawson Creek RCMP says the workers will be wearing high-visibility vests and will have PNG badges on them.
PNG will be installing automated meter reading (AMR) technology on existing meters for customers within Northeast BC. Currently, they’re in Dawson Creek and area and should be in Fort St. John later in the spring.
The new meters will benefit customers by ensuring billing accuracy, increasing customer convenience, and providing cost savings. PNG will be doing contactless installations, which should take no longer than 15 minutes.
