A reconstructed Pompeii bridal chariot that eluded modern-day thieves in the ancient city is a star of a new exhibition in Rome. The four-wheeled chariot features silver and bronze decorations including of erotic scenes. It's being shown for the first time to the public since it was discovered in 2021 under four meters (13 feet) of volcanic ash. But there are many other stellar pieces in the exhibit that opens on Thursday for a three-month run in the cavernous halls of the Baths of Diocletian.
