Professor and opponent remember Bir Davinder Singh as avid reader, attractive speaker

Professor Sadhu Singh (retired), who taught English at Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib told The Indian Express that Bir Davinder Singh was his student in the 1969-70 class. He recalled a strike in the college which was led by Singh.
