Punjab schools to reopen from tomorrow for students of classes 5 to 8: Education Minister

Punjab Schools have been ordered to resume physical classes for students of classes 5 to 8 from January 7, 2021. Classes for students of 9 to 12 have already been permitted in the state.

Schools in Punjab would reopen from tomorrow – January 7, 2021 for students of classes 5 to 8. Punjab Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla has stated that after repeated requests from parents, the state government has decided to allow physical classes for students of clases 5 to 8 from January 7. The schools would be held from 10 am to 3 pm. The order is application to all government, semi government and private schools.
