The deal announced Wednesday by the Treasury Board includes salary increases between 6.3 and 10 per cent over three years, depending on job categories. Eligibility for a “substantial bonus” will also be enlarged.

Quebec reaches contract deal with SFPQ union Back to video
“We have finally gotten from the Legault government a better recognition of the expertise and contribution of public service staff,” SFPQ president Christian Daigle said in a statement. “This deal begins a long-awaited salary catch-up.”
Vice-president Maryse Rousseau said the union believes it has successfully negotiated for “equitable treatment” of the workers.
