Residential housing at the Forks moved one step closer to reality Wednesday with a ground-breaking operation, of sorts.
In the first physical, onsite development of the Railside at the Forks project, Maple Leaf Drilling began drilling boreholes for a district geothermal system that can provide central heating and cooling for up to 1,200 new residential units and over 100,000 sq. ft. of new commercial space.
