Suspended companies to be heavily penalized for human trafficking violations
Companies caught committing violations of human trafficking laws will have their crimes clearly underlined in their files, under the directions of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM), who decided to replace the vague symbolic numbers used before to hide the types of violations and crimes committed by these companies, Al-seyassah reported. The prior system also provided the companies with a kind of legal cover to, in some cases, continue the violations.
The daily said, quoting informed sources that more than 10,000 suspended companies are under review by PAM to erase the old codes, and replace them with newer codes that clearly and explicitly mention the violations committed by these companies, which consequently caused their files to be suspended.
