UTICA, NY - Parents, teachers, and students from Albany Elementary School in Utica came together Monday to say goodbye to a beloved educator.
The teachers and parents organized a parade outside the school to serenade principal Tania Kalavazoff, who is retiring after fourteen years on the job.
Students brought signs and drivers honked their horns to show appreciation for her years of dedication and gave Kalavazoff the best early Christmas present she could ask for.
