Every year on World Oceans Day, team members from Sandals and Beaches Negril participate in initiatives to help keep our oceans clean and healthy.
Dedicated to environmental preservation, the team took part in this year’s clean-up activities at Bull’s Bay Beach in Hanover
The small beach, utilised for swimming by the communities nearby, was rid of over 100 pounds of garbage.
The garbage collected consisted of plastic and glass bottles, clothing, household items, sandbags, tyres, diapers, batteries, fishing nets and other items.
Management trainee in the engineering department at Sandals Negril Odane Blair got to cleaning the moment he arrived at Bull’s Bay Beach in Hanover. Blair was a part of a group of Sandals Foundation volunteers from Sandals and Beaches Negril who engaged in a beach clean-up activity to commemorate World Oceans Day.
