Saudi Arabia Hopes Revived Efforts Will Help in Establishing Palestinian State

The Saudi government hoped on Tuesday that the efforts launched by Saudi Arabia, the Arab League, European Union, with the cooperation of Egypt and Jordan, would achieve peace in the Middle East through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the cabinet meeting that was held in NEOM city. The Palestinian state must be based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and according to international resolutions and the 2002 Arab peace initiative, added the cabinet.
