An architectural and engineering design looking into the feasibility of accommodating new office space within the Warden’s House will cost up to $50,000.
In its report asking to proceed with the work, administration said the ongoing pandemic has resulted in the need for additional office space. Although council approved the request from administration to move to the design phase, several members had harsh words for the aging building — some of them categorizing it as a money pit.
