Senegal poll: Bassirou Diomaye, Sonko's protégé, said to have taken early lead

Supporters of opposition party candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye flooded the streets of Senegal on Sunday, claiming he has won the first round of the presidential poll. If official results are expected within a week, some of the 17 candidates vying for the presidency have already conceded their defeat
