Care workers taking the vaccine
Our readers had mixed views on whether it should be compulsory for all care workers to have the Covid-19 vaccine.
Many believe it should be the choice of the individual, while others believe for safety reasons they should have the jab.
Covid-19 vaccines may become mandatory for nurses and colleagues working in care homes with older adults in England, under new proposals from the government.
Linda Weightman said: "When I was a nurse I did everything in my power to protect the health and well-being of the patients. Why should it be different now? Yes health workers should be vaccinated."
