Six see promotion in Citrus County Sheriff's Office

Citrus County Sheriff Mike Prendergast announced the promotion of six of his deputies and brought attention Tuesday to their accomplishments during a ceremony.
“These promotions were made to further strengthen and structure the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office for future endeavors,” CCSO spokesman Sgt. Lee Carey wrote the Chronicle.
Prendergast congratulated those promoted.

"I would like to congratulate these six individuals on a new chapter in their professional career," said Sheriff Prendergast. "With these changes, our team of professionals will continue to add to our rich legacy of excellence in public service."
