Stable, low inflation to provide necessary bedrock for sustainable economic growth: RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das

Consumer price-based inflation (CPI) or retail inflation eased to a three-month low of 5.1 per cent in January from 5.7 per cent in December. However, it continues to remain above the 4 per cent target of the RBI.
