StackCommerce, which develops a white-label marketplace which is used by publishers and brands to help connect people with products, has been acquired by
Integrated Media Company (IMC), itself owned by private equity investor
TPG. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Stack Commerce is led by founder and CEO Josh Payne. According to StackCommerce, its partners earned more than $175M on its platform. The companies said that StackCommerce was advised by investment bank CG Petsky Prunier (part of Canaccord Genuity) in the deal; the company's legal advisor was Cooley LLP.
