​​The Department of Development Planning: City Transformation (DP), through the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA), have appointed a specialist team comprising Urban Designers, IYER CC, for the review of the Randburg CBD urban development framework.
The need for a review stems from the out datedness of existing spatial policies and the changing character and role of Randburg in relation to the City of Joburg as a whole.
An urban development framework consists of a number of sections/chapters that each require significant consultation. The project team has held open days and focus group meetings for input on key priorities for the Randburg CBD.
