Tacoma Public School students begin return to in-person learning next month

TACOMA, Wash. – Tacoma Public School’s kindergarten students will begin returning to the classroom next month, following updated guidance from Gov. Jay Inslee.
On Friday, the school district announced that it will begin bringing students back to school for in-person instruction starting with kindergarten students on Jan. 19.
The school district will start with kindergarten students going into the classroom for in-person learning two days a week, either Monday and Tuesday or Thursday and Friday, in groups of up to 15.
Kindergarten students who have not yet had any in-school experience will have the school mostly to themselves the first week.
