Tarboro, N.C. — Another year, another Tarboro state championship appearance.
The Vikings defeated a strong Louisburg team by a score of 66-13 in last night’s 1AA East regional final. The Vikings are set to take on East Surry once again in the state title. The Cardinals’ 56-28 win over Tarboro in last season’s 1AA championship has been what has driven this Viking group throughout the spring season.
The Tarboro T offense has been a machine this season thanks to a powerful offensive line and an elite trio of rushers. Senior quarterback Najee Farmer has effectively orchestrated the unit all season.
