This, DepEd said in a statement issued Friday, May 14, is part of the agency’s continuous support to teachers in administering blended learning under School Year (SY) 2020-2021 brought about by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic situation in the country.
DepEd said that during the “EduAKSYON” press conference in Region XI, Undersecretary for Administration Alain Del Pascua announced that department has started the “procurement process of the connectivity load” that will provide public school teachers with 30 to 35 GB data allocation per month.
“We will begin to roll out siguro (probably by) next month,” Pascua said. “We will be asking our teachers to register in DepEd Commons para mabigyan sila ng load sa kani-kanilang cellphone (so we can give them the load in their cellphone),” he added.
