As Kade Davis remains in the Jasper County Jail, deputies filed ten new criminal charges against him on Thursday.
Davis, who is 23 and from Lumberton, is accused of slamming head-on into a car driven by Laurie Beth Seehusen, 58, of Vidor, as he was fleeing from Jasper County deputies in a pickup truck that was stolen from the Golden Triangle. Seehusen died in the crash, which occurred on Thursday, July 15th, just north of Vidor.
Davis was originally charged with one count of Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle, and his bond was originally set at $150,000.00. His bond is now up to $315,000.00.
