I remember the day that we finally got to bring you home on Christmas Eve, three weeks after you were born on Dec. 4, 2009.
Dec. 24 that year wasnât just a normal Christmas Eve for me. For the 20 days leading up to that day, any time I was asked what I wanted for Christmas, my answer was always the same. I just wanted my baby boy home. I wanted to be the one changing your diapers and waking up to feed you during the night. I wanted to be the last one to hold you and kiss you goodnight and the first one to hold you in the morning.
