Course description:
The L&D Working Group of the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action launched a revised version of the Child Protection in Humanitarian Action Competency Framework in 2020. More recently a number of tools have been developed to accompany the framework, specifically:
a tool to design a competency-based job description using the framework;
a tool to develop competency-based interviews using the framework;
a tool for self-evaluation and manager’s evaluation of competence, based on the framework
To ensure an effective use of the framework and these tools, the L&D Working group is aiming to deliver a number of remotely facilitated training sessions, providing a comprehensive overview of the framework, its structure, and use of the accompanying tools.
