A two-month-old infant and seven-month-old baby are among the youngest COVID-19 patients being assisted by the Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises and Development (FRIEND) Fiji.
According to the foundation, the mother of the seven-month-old child sent a desperate plea for baby formula to the NGO while they were in isolation at a facility in Ba.
FRIEND Fiji has been instrumental in helping thousands of households in need of assistance.
The NGO has worked with a distribution partner in Ba and organised for baby formula to be delivered to the mother and child.
