Train operator beaten with pipe, straphanger stabbed by stranger in NYC: cops

In the latest attack, the subway worker was clearing a northbound C train that was taken out of service at the 168th Street-Washington Heights subway station around 11:45 p.m. Sunday when a passenger started arguing with him, police said.
