We took a decision a year we realized a year ago the speed with which the business had been growing in had been eating up a lot of resource we had to make a lot of investments in it and we felt very year ago 1st to continue with the good work that we've been doing and expanding the business and to make sure that we maintain the integrity of the product that we really need to look at getting some external investment in and we started that sweep looked around to see what the options were a trade deal wasn't top of our list we have to say it was really having met most and cause and talking to them and seeing how they've operated in this country how they've worked with other companies similar to us that we really ultimately decided that they were the best partner Frost moved forward and we had a shared vision and to make sure that we could deliver what we'd started so you know why you're a victim of your own success we're a. Firms and products get Chinese to people are worried you know you'll fiddle with asp bills our intention is to continue to invest in the brand in the liquid the manufacturing side and so to continue to grow a spill in the way that it's built the only change we want to make is positive with further investment it's about the brand and the manufacturing facility hopefully creating new jobs in the area very similar to what we've done with the shops business in call more life in the last 5 to 6 years Ok let's just stick to the flavor of it and then we'll move on to the other side of things so you're not going to fiddle with any of the product itself the reason that the products so successful is because it's a tremendous Sajda really stands out for the quality of English side and we would be foolish to change that and we have no intention to often happens as well is that people let you come up and make these promises then a year or so down the line or actually yet we can't sustain this now or a multitude of excuses come up and the business disappears and go somewhere else this is a long term investment from also because with a long term v.a. We think the asco side of brand can be the number one premium side in the u.k. And internationally and that's the reason that we've purchased a business and there's a long term intent to that and so the soap Suffolk tell me what your plans are specifically then for the site in the manufacture. Yes we've got a number of areas of the site that we want to invest in significant investment to make sure the quality of the product remains have it I've got a great capital plan for that and we've also locked out what we're going to Dave Brown perspectives both requiring significant investment which Henry and Barry will continue to support me on right and so we going to be manufactured here will be manufactured elsewhere our intention is that all the manufacturing will continue to be in such that we expand the capacity of the site and invest in the right elements of the process to make sure we keep the quality as brilliant as it's always been I mean if I could come back to you I mean the joy of Aspas this is that people felt that you were a small local company and I'm not just talking about people buying and drinking a here in Suffolk but further afield there was a kind of lovely feel to it you know going to lose that what made it so very special that you were a small company. I don't think so and I reason for that is Phil mentioned shops very down in rock and that was a pivotal turning moment for Barry and I in the whole process shops is a brewery that I think has been running since 9095 and most new acquired it in 2011 and one of the pits is that Phil and his team made in to us was the work that they've done with shops in there actually and maintained its character is maintained its whole it maintained its voice and it was still based firmly in Comal So we went down and we spend a couple of days with the team down there we spend time with the team down there who are with people the most and cause people and the overriding impression we left with was that it was a fantastic investment they were very pleased with the way the business is gone they've maintained their integrity they were able to make more beer and they made me able to make more better beer and that feeling that we got from coming away from Rock really understanding wanted and part way with with Barry and as we said this could really really work and this could really take ask. To the next level as far as the family feel is concerned and we've got a commitment from Phil and to feel both ways that we stay very very closely involved in a you know we're passionate about the product about asp about the people in it about Suffolk and we want to stay there and make sure that we deliver on that moving forward and it's what helps is having a large multinational at Mawson cause involved is you can actually maintain integrity when we go in and we talk to customers We're just selling cider we've got a military now to be part of a portfolio which makes those conversations about the quality and.
