The november surprise just four days before the election, two new hillary emails discovered by the fbi just released by the state department. They do contain classified information. Fox business senior washington correspondent peter barnes joins me now. Peter . Reporter thats right, liz. These are part of a release by the state department of another 74 emails from Hillary Clintons private account when she was secretary of state. What is important here these are among the thousands that the fbi reviewed earlier this year as part of its first investigation into her use of private email. The department retroactively upgrading two of them to confidential, the lowest level for classified material. They both involve calls to foreign leaders and are heavily redacted. One to the president of afghanistan and one to the crown prince of the united arab emirates. The Department Said a significant number of the other emails release today were near duplicates of previouslyreleased emails. Were still going through them to see if there is anything controversial or something that could affect the election on tuesday. On that separately, officials at department of Homeland Security said they are very potential cyberattack that could cause confusion on election days. They minimized concerns about hackers ability to skew the vote tally themselves given Voting Machines are not connected to the internet. But officials noted vulnerability of internetfacing election systems like state voter databases and election websites. Officials at background briefing today, acknowledged those systems paint a target for statesponsored groups and hacktivists looking to confuse the u. S. Electorate. That could come by hacker successfully manipulating the information on the display of Election Results on a States Department of state website. To mitigate any potential threat on november 8th, one official said that representatives from all 50 states have consulted with dhs at some level on election cybersecurity matters. Liz . I met a woman whose baby daughter when she was born was diagnosed as totally deaf. The doctors said there is nothing we can do for her. But this mother, like many mothers i know, did not take that for an answer, right . She got on the internet. She found there could be treatments she could provide to her little daughter. They were expensive and she and her husband didnt have that kind of money and they didnt have insurance. She was at the doctors office, and she was distraught. The doctor said, there is this new thing for the Childrens Health insurance network. She was eligible. She signed up and started giving the her daughter the best health care that every child in this country should be able to have, by the way. [cheering] and when i was in north carolina, i heard about her and i got to meet her, but more than that, i met her daughter who talked to me and just graduated from college because she got the health care and she got the treatment that she deserved to have. [cheering] i tell you what, that is how i judge my last 30 years. Have i done something to help somebody else . I am well aware of the blessings that i have had. I want to be sure all of us figure out a way to pay it forward, make it possible for more families, more kids, to have the chance to live up to their own godgiven potential. [cheering] and i was a senator in new york on 9 11, so i know what can happen, the evil and the hatred of terrorism. I saw it. And i spent my time helping to rebuild new york city and helping get health care for the brave firstresponders who ran toward danger, not away from it. Our police, our firefighters, our emts. Democrat candidate right now in detroit, michigan, don, what do you think . I think geographic location is really interesting. That is a state that should be democratic. It has been a dependable state for the democrats for a while and she had that in the win column. She is there now a few days before the election. I think that indicates she is playing some defense as opposed to trying to expand. And so that must mean there is some tracking polling internally telling her she needs to be there. And then they have got to defend pennsylvania as well, as governor was just saying. I think that is also indicative. There is definitely a shift that has happened, and you know, it is hard, look im a democrat and i talk to people on both sides and what i have seen here is there is just this frustration on both sides in terms of what the options are. And there is a lack of enthusiasm. I have not seen this in my entire lifetime. I can remember the president ial elections. Liz what do you mean . This lack of enthusiasm, after the outcome of this election i think that half the country or more will be, you know, unhappy. So, you know were divided country. This has been a extremely divisive campaign. Heavy on attacks. And short on ideas and vision for america. I think frankly you know, with given the difficulties of the trump has had as political candidate, i would have expected Hillary Clinton to have expand ad lead her and maintained it. I think that has to come from somebody articulating a vision for america. And what vision is not how bad the other person but how good your vision is. Liz governor, Hillary Clinton has been saying i have the better temperment, i have the steadier hand, basically her campaign has been seems like riding out the clock and also attacking donald trump, right . So, to dons point, what are the policy ideas, what is her vision for america . I havent heard one. You know donald trump has talked about draining the swamp. He has been specific. Term limits, stopping revolving door from people going from government to lobbying, making a lot of money, cashing in their government service. He talked about immigration reform, real immigration reform, getting control on it. Stopping unfair trade deals, cutting corporate taxes bringing jobs of the those are policy ideas. People are connecting to that because they know that the things that they have seen have not worked. Hillary is not giving them an emotional reason to vote for her. I said she has bonn gone so neg, trump on other hand, to his credit is positive out there, he is having fun. This is choice between the trump or the grump. I believe happy warrior wins most elections in final days. If one candidate looks likes theyre going somewhere and other one looks like theyre sorry they have been, the person going somewhere people want to follow. That is a leader. Don, there has been a lot of talk about Hillary Clinton having more path to victory for the states. He has to win all the states mitt romney won in 2012 plus ohio. Hillary clinton with solid democratleaning states right now she is at path, has way who are paths to victory through the electoral college, right . We know the polls show neck an neck but in terms of what people do in the voting booth, they say to themselves it is moral choice. What is good for the family, what is good for america, right . So what do you think the democrats will do when they go into the voting booth . Look i think the one thing everybody is in agreement with, no one wants politics as usual. I think that the vast majority of people on both sides of the aisle want change. They do not like this political environment, this gridlock, this paytoplay, all the things associated with washington d. C. Politics and i think people want a change there. I think challenge is, that while, you know liz do you think hillary brings that change . I dont think, no, i dont think that a person who has been in politics since the 1980s, National Politics since 1992, is a step forward for change so. Question is, is the change being offered by trump acceptable . You know the Business Community is concerned and i think were seeing it right now with the stock market. You know the general public is a bit concerned as well because he has not up until the last two weeks, trump, meaning has not given anyone kind of a concrete sense of clarity and disciplined clarity what that change is going to look like. Liz governor, what do you make of that, what don just said . I think he has been far more clear in terms of the overall direction. He believes in a free market economy. He believes taxes are better when theyre lower, not higher. He believes government is better when it doesnt strangle the free market by regulation that is unjustified. Especially heavyhanded. What weve seen with the clintons is the use of Government Agencies to actually punish political enemies in the name of government. If there anything that ought to turn americans off and keep them from the verying from hillary is that she would use government to shield herself from responsibility and accountability but use those powers of government to punish all of her political enemies. The terrible jobs report just came out shows number of people not in the workforce increased by another 125,000 people next month. That is why you see the phony numbers, 5 people unemployed. People are stopping, they cant look for work because they cant get a job and they take them off the rolls. These numbers are absolute disaster. Liz only 161,000 jobs addedded. 94 million americans not in the labor force. Includes too sick to work, retired but a lot of unemployed in there. Labor Participation Rate second highest on record. Parttime jobs rising by about 93,000. Thats not good. Also government jobs rising as well. Meantime the s p 500 just closed session in the red for the ninth straight day. That is the longest losing streak in 36 years. Were talking 1980 right there. My next guest says hillary win would only make the market and economy slide. Cke restaurant ceo, they own carls junior and hardees, andy bosser in, economic advise for for trump. 73 straight months of jobs creation. What are your thoughts . Look theyre really trying to put a lipstick on a pig with this one. We got you went through the numbers. We added 230,000 people to the employable population, that is people 16 years and older not in jail or the military, 230,000 of them. 43,000 fewer people are employed. Even though they added jobs, you have fewer people employed than we had coming into this, the end of october. These are terrible numbers. The economic policies that lead to these numbers make absolutely no this is not system i can. This is problem problem with policy, tax policy, regulatory policy, energy and trade. I mean look, weve, the jobs created last month, of the people that found jobs, over 100,000 fewer fulltime jobs but about 90,000 more parttime jobs. It is obamacare strikes again. Every time you turn around obamacare is having another negative impact on the economy. These were miserable numbers but i did love governor huckabees comment trump versus the grump i thought that fit real well listening to Hillary Clinton yell in my ear past few minutes, sitting here waiting for the interview. Can a donald trump go down to washington, d. C. , dynamite out the status quote and change trade policies . He has to get both houses behind him. Can he do it . We will have republican house. I pray well have a Republican Senate but well have a very dynamic president who has been ceo. He knows how to lead. Everybody knows the tax code needs to be revised and should be generating economic growth. Shouldnt be out there trying to do income redistribution. Everybody knows we need an Energy Policy that leads to energy independence, not one that just focuses on trying to solve the worlds problems with climate change. He was found with a hundred 25 ballots sitting on his Kitchen Table that he himself went through and filled out. My own grandmothers ballot when she lived in a nursing home was filled out on her behalf before she have the chance to even vote for her own son. What was her reaction to that.
