Iowa Governor Terry branstad is now a part of a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection agencys controversial waters of the u. S. Rule. In a release on tuesday. Branstad announced he was joining the u. S. District court of north dakota in support of 13 other states. Nationally. Governors or attorneys general from more than 31 states have taken action against wotus. Branstad says the new water rule would impose significant barriers and impair iowas ability to advance Water Quality practices and initiatives like the iowa nutrient reduction strategy.
