Health minute I'm Tracy McRae like so many other winter mornings Jim rad law fired up a snow blower and got to work clearing his driveway then slush clogged the machine so he threw it into neutral watched the blade stop turning and stuck his hand in the edge of the chute Obviously this was the dumbest thing I've ever done the blades reengaged and in an instant gone with the ends of 3 fingers on his right hand Jim's made an inspiring recovery but he says he couldn't have come this far without some serious help in your hand you have muscles you have tendons ligaments and obviously the bones that hold everything together Marilyn Byrd is an occupational therapist she says the goals of rehab are always to preserve the range of motion reduce swelling and build strength all essential for daily tasks one task Jim doesn't worry about anymore is snow blowing his wife made him give it away he did keep the mangled glove that he was wearing though as a reminder to slow down be safe and count his blessings that the accident wasn't worse for Mayo Clinic radio I'm Tracy McRae. Good afternoon Tucson welcome to the t. Ball game day takeover on sports radio 1290 is the perfection plastic surgery and skin care countdown to show they have to teach me Ok Mike Luke I would say give us a call 880-1290 but we're on a remote broadcast right now so be here with you for the next couple hours break everything down All right guys let's get down to the brass tacks right here you've got Washington going up Washington State right now I think it's fair to say that that's the least. Maybe the least. Program in the conference. And the where about of though I may have to worry about just a little bit on the type of troops especially the way they performed on her what was it like when you would go to Washington say Wow Well you know I was a great time you know the biggest city in the conference and I was it was so bad because you flew into you know Spokane a lot of the times you had to drive a lot of time we stayed in Idaho you know right the you know your state across the border right across the border in Idaho so it was a lot of traveling a lot of scenery when you got there was it was cool Singapore window it was an older town so it was kind of cool seeing the scenery a lot of wheat fields a lot of build mountains and heels which meant that you were there you were there for the classic games yeah I was right there when I would I come back double overtime to 95 district alive and they could. At that time it's been about 9 years since there was a loss to Washington as part of that strict It went on for $38.00 games but that's one of the great comebacks in Arizona history men's basketball football whatever you want to however you want to slice it that's one of the great comebacks Yeah and I wonder if games that we're talking about right now where those guys have everything to gain by performing their best versus you have a in a lot of time is just another game for you of a guys it's a game that you have to get because you're on a road and you want to come away with at least one game but usually we feel like that's a game we should have and Washington when you get to Seattle with a tough win that you you know got about a 4 and now with this road trip you don't go a lot of years ago and they're thinking Ok washes really tough let's do this get our road split come home to sweep the road games etc You got to go you go on this road trip you've got to sweep it you have is a disaster if you lose either of these games at the Washington schools you know that's true but at the end of the year like this man I mean anything can happen at the end of the year when people put together game plans have been watching you play all year you know little injury when want to talk about it right now is happening everybody will know about right now so different things like that could happen that could change the way things come in the pan so I want to go back if I just had and I'll just take over here by your show Ok I thought that there are the a.p. Voters here but let's talk about I want I want to I'm fascinated about that 9095 game because that is when the great comeback there was I was down. With a down 10 with about a minute 15 to go. Great comeback demands up to 40 double overtime. But that comeback might not never happen if not Charley Ranger believe it c'est a technical foul on the Washington state crowd because they threw it on the floor what did you see what would you remember about that you know I remember just out of a sudden it came out they were winning and they were all excited and hyped up 11 person in a crowd were just a little too high and that's basically when he threw it out there we got the free throws and got a chance to get in that huddle and guys just reminded themselves of who we were we were going with the Wildcats and they wanted a reminder themselves who we were and went out to those guys and took a bit is there but that one little thing just some simple like that could give your opportunity to come back you think we'll ever see a streak like that from one team to another in conference like here because I mean that got to be I mean it what it did finish I was 83838 I was going to say 38 or 48 I could remember so I mean essentially you dominated a program for 19 years in this day and age of college basketball do you think you will ever see something like that again. Nar That's right that right it is make your just remind you how great it was I mean he was a guy that he put in at work every time I went to practice one thing that I really took away from him was that he really drilled you at practice and he really got guys prepare to go in no matter where you were to take our business to be able to have a streak like that versus someone for 19 years when you consistently beat them over and over again that's just unimaginable and I would guess that without looking at the scores obviously that game was an all time or in a very very very close call but I would guess 36 of the other of the 38 more tackle yeah they would you know I'm Did my history and as far as what the actual scores were but I guarantee you they went close gotos was just the guy I mean one thing I just always loved by him a tremendous competitor he went in to beat everybody he played it was no messing around a tree everyone the same. Was the best player in Washington state when you were playing was it Isaac Fontaine Yeah he's right the fun was a killer I couldn't believe we beat him some of the time that we did but overall I think it was just a program Arizona does have this mystique about the program that sometimes those teams couldn't overcome you know what's interesting too is that Washington state over the years has had a couple fairly renowned coaches I mean Tony Bennett obviously overwash and his father and Dick Bennett and then you look at a guy like Calvin Sampson who you know is still fairly accomplished I know he's got some trouble left and right but you know he's fairly fairly accomplished there so. What is the upside at a place like Washington State if you get the right guy in there how good can you be consistently I mean there was a crew Lester before while we had Cambone in there and I will not again I will tell you I can't I thought he was not a kind of quirky Nice Guy No I like them just because he came from good information when he recruited left and how much he liked Lester you know I really maybe that's the kind of God Like you I know say any way but I was like I had so came by when he came down yes he came down here to visit Les here in Tucson and when he came down out I was told and then I thought I want to stay and I mean it's a Pac 12 schools you know I have guns I got the wind in the middle of nowhere up in Spokane Wa Can you guys the pool and I would I'm just confused about what he say Oh oh no he sleeps diffuse themselves you can get better guys why can't you do it after you said that's why I'm here trying to give us your eyesight you know and I would to me that's what you have to do you have to get away a program by grabbing a few join you kind of guy for about 4 to 6 years I think to really build your program a lot of arguments doing transfers and some junior college guys and mix them in with one of 2 top 150 he is a whatever you know and come that route but some reason to not get those kids and sometimes it happens in football and where the Washington state will get that. Middle 2nd tier l.a. Kid there's always an l.a. Kid or 2 who play who just wants to get out right and there's no you can't get further out and stay in the Pac 12 but Pullman Washington let me ask you this has Washington state produced a better pro all time than Arizona has. It's Mark Latham's right well just thrown out there I mean not to say the numbers but those in that they do or how little I know I don't obviously I mean I understand we're talking what a player really trying to give up something Ok well. He's a great player a great 2 way player I think a lot of people give enough credit for his defense that he plays but I just don't know how much I want to give that to Washington State now the question is why he isn't he helping watching state recruit guys there oh maybe years and we don't know but it's not where this heated enjoys time in Washington state but it's still the school that he came from and I just think that he should you know go out of his way to try to you know help the team be better I would agree with that come back with us us from the t. They seem to have a more complete team back then they had a little bit of Edward Henderson at the the center fun tank coming off the screens and you had the point go at us and then it was a few more guys I remember having a great time been scouting for those guys ravaged did a lot of teams that had the great scores on the team because our coach was used to always make me to score for the other team when we when we had practice Anthony made a fairly interesting point which I'll use of telling won't here and say Hall which is rare for you Mike I'm taking you know I'm leaving thank you very much I'm of the opinion though that Washington state though you have to have a coach that might be a little bit outside the box I think that's why Tony Bennett was able to be successful there I hate watching that style of basketball where the 1st 20 wins but at least they were somewhat successful there you could say the same to a certain extent I guess under Calvin Sampson maybe even Kevin Eastman to a little to Kevin Eastman actually had a couple good years which I don't remember what so ever but do you have to have a higher up Mike Leach outside the box guy to win there yeah I think so I think because you have to have somebody big they give the kids some type of brand of basketball to make him you know latch on to so they can see that that's where I want to go play it's me up to post our Ernie can if he can get the guys in that he had like at Oregon which may be tough but if he can get some of those type of kids in there to take John Porter type guys then you'd love to want more yeah I'm into one Ok I love the way to get in some Aaron Brooks and Freddie Jones and so you got to read now as exult with Jackson because that's all it takes Yeah yeah you know I just thought for 5 years are up because they just snap his fingers and they go to Washington state but that's what it is though he has to figure out a way to get some guys in there and like again the style of play is big if you have some press and trap and an up and down according to his absinthe free flow to the game and it takes mentality right to make interest in putting kids to come there I think that's what we have to do you gotta make it a little more fun. To wake him farm brand of basketball what it is can see that they can come have and have opportunities and it definitely help. If you look at what Mike Leach doesn't football he plays a style that's that's attractive to a lot of guys especially offensively you know why just that's why the quarter to quarter backs alignment at all like a run block Yeah for all I mean who could never be in a 3 points to remember what I predicted them to finish in the top 25 this year and it didn't matter that I'd always help you but they were they were a really but I was very worried because I had 26 you did my priest good folks at Wendy's do a pretty good job there you know just looking to disappoint you know they did it that way they fizzled out there at the end I wasn't happy at all but a little early can talk he was just talking this week about you know how he's moving forward how he's going to have to replace guys like Josh Hawkinson and I correct through and guys I got it and he's talking about he needs to find different ways he needs to find maybe a kid who grew up in the West was playing the East wants to come back yeah he needs to find some j.c. Guys you need to find some guys who are just kind of pure shooters who maybe maybe in Arizona doesn't want because maybe it's one dimensional but he could have that to work in Washington staying right right like a kid that's just a shooter or write a real quick point guard that can just take the ball from one in a court to other in the force the defense they have so they can find find the actual shooters that's what he's looking for he's going to mix and match but not he would have found. Sure Oregon from northern Idaho one year left or even in football with also Cinco when he went to Arkansas they would want to hear you get when you're right you know firemen guys that are just home grief even go down the beach to like Colorado did what he found a key that kind of how to find a kid in d 2 and brought a mobile when you left you just got to go find the who wins 2000 Oregon State football or $98.00 Arizona football $98.00 come on you have to go but I'm going to be anybody I'm not going to be a fun game though bring it on because I think we had enough to compete with anybody in my defense was pretty tough. Or just a team with nasty No you had not do you guys you were going to get you have the skill guys on the team. For for that organ state I know you can name the school God Ok now I know where you're going was 2001 to be Notre Dame and I've been finish like 30 and he can be taught to write where I'll show you I probably can really know guys to follow me it was even Jackson the running back right now now can Simonton Simonton had a little 5 not good yes I would say it was the Chad Johnson I was told who he got is not longer Jonathan Smith was he the quarterback Yeah I think so he don't think so it was well there's a little there's a little trip down memory lane where we got there I like those names on our bookers Chris what a lock to OTOH already are here's what I want to be above and you don't have to go to the top of a defense to stop me it's wrong North Korea had a guy you know and we had a couple of them was to ensure a very big near you and you know what Ludlow did Barberin and yeah he's up there in Oregon State now so the n.f.l. Has a new secret Yes a good 6 year old you know right lucky and an onus I'll know and anyone with your let's talk about golf as alarming you know as like 5 or 6 guys that play to a true true true I just wanted to see if I could just get you go in there a little you know you thought I would buy back do you now it's part of that was hard knowing that I was going to say Calvin. With Washington state do you give them any chance in this game whatsoever and let me let me make the case for Washington state here in Calvin and then you can tear this down you've got a fairly athletic point guard and I can rock through who athleticism has never been Ike's problem I mean he was a guy that was actually fairly with thought of well thought of recruit coming out I mean by the time when he was a sophomore the u. Of a was closely following him you look at you got I correct Bill you got Malakai Flynn bedmate one of the best names in the conference good shooter and up front you have a couple nice 7 footers 617 footers and Josh hawk and Sam Connor Clifford that's not going to do it for a no no it's not to do it for you know that that's just not enough you know guys have to play heavy minutes every one of those guys have to play over 35 minutes against you have a last game and they couldn't get it done they're tough their physical going to come with their a game they brought in a game down here in Tucson and it just wasn't enough and I think it's going to save such a way. Washington State they're going to come out the 1st that they're going to fight I'm actually going to take a close game this time just because they game with this type of data that they gave was a Tucson so I'm going to get a respect over under 5 games that Calvin predicts Arizona to lose the rest of the season. Are going to predict us on a regular season that just the rest of the season. Are you going to predict Arizona lose a game. With your male clinic radio health minutes I'm Tracy McRae there's no question that our genetic makeup holds clues about our future health in a recent study scientists using data from more than 60000 women from around the world discovered 41 new genes all of which individually influence risk of breast cancer one of those scientists is Dr Fergus couch who says the job is now to incorporate that d.n.a. Information into risk assessment models so these would be models that non-effective women would use they would come into the clinic and with this information we might be able to predict who is at high risk who is at elevated risk of getting breast cancer in the future and perhaps even a low risk group who perhaps doesn't don't need as much screening. You know less frequent mammograms for instance over the next few years Dr couch says there's a lot of work ahead but the potential benefits could be huge for more information talk with your doctor or visit Mayo Clinic dot org. With your Mayo Clinic radio health minutes I'm Tracy McRae We often read or hear stories about people who saved a life by pulling someone from a fire or the water or helping in an accident scene those people are heroes who were in the right place at the right time but you can be just as much of a hero and can do it while sitting down watching a movie or reading a book how by giving blood at the same time there's all this someone who needs and unfortunately it's almost a sickest of sick person who needs blood and it's in the blood which makes the difference between life and that point them doctor money should Gandhi says only a small percentage about 3 percent of those who are eligible donors actually donate at the same time the Red Cross estimates that someone needs blood about every 2 seconds that's over $40000.00 people every day and while we may not hear about it on the news for every pint of blood that is donated up to 3 lives can be saved please consider being one of these heroes for information talk with your doctor or visit Mayo Clinic dot org. Starting a business is tough you will face the many hard challenges along the way here are a few barriers startups have to overcome I focus on Pat O'Brien the business rockstars a minute number one rapid growth when the start of does find their niche market demand for its products and services will skyrocket and the company will need to grow and adapt to fill in needs of its growing client base expanding at this fast rate is a challenge for small and sometimes unexpecting startups number 2 fast paced market technology moves incredible speed and keeping up with the changes to be a challenge for startups Although companies should strive for innovation they can easily become distracted by new projects markets and technology losing sight of their needs to market that makes them valuable to survive you need to stay focused and always at your core I'm Pat O'Brien and this has been a business rockstars minute. Did know would fit in he's going to be fine I think that next shot he feels is going to go in Lowry you kind of wonder this is probably the 1st time that he's really struggled in his career I don't imagine that there's a lot of Finnish walk down defenders at the stretch power forward position Calvin Yeah you know and you know and I hope he really recognizes that you know or you're really struggling when you really haven't had that many 2 point field goals are you really struggling I mean he's struggling from the 3 point from the point line as far as percentage in and it makes go right now for as makes go right now but the reality of it is the way the season goes people go up and down with their shooting is $43.00 point you have to get into the lane it takes an easier shot and then once he has some easier shot dead I can say struggling right now I can see the guys struggling if he's not even going easy 5 so 5 games though not point well does mean struggling Well it's not from behind a 3 point line though it's not it is nothing in the lane I want to see him get in the land he's still doing all the little things he's rebound in the last game against these guys yes 16 and 13 I respect some simmered today you know what they got he got 5 made baskets in 4 games now so I'm not I'm not really concerned about Lowery I'm curious I'm curious to see who is who is Laurie market if he hasn't struggled. Who is it who is he to get out of right out of what is that you want what is it what is his mindset What is he learning and you always see this too with a quarterback where he goes out there and he sets the world on fire and then the defense makes the adjustment and then the really good quarterbacks can make that counter move and again. What's the adjustment of taken he's dismissing the 3 pointers that he was making these 3 point is that to be to sign low want to different mentality out of him yeah I want them and how they did I seen him play in film and it is great that he made that adjustment most modern forward and even sometimes to guard for that you have a but what I think it did was it threw him off of his game of the reality of what he really is he's really a stretch for that get a tag guys and score around the basket and what he did was he changed his whole game and so basically a pop a pick in pop 3 do you think that you have a still trying to figure out exactly. How to use him I don't think they know I think they're trying to figure it out think they know what they have but I think this is been a thing that we've noticed for a while here we just we really can't run a systems force officers concerned the new play we get the ball to our wrist to get them at the basket that isn't as cool but how many plays do we actually see said enough shots to get some easier buckets and I think that's where a set right there just as coaches to figure in what plays you want to set up to get him some easier buckets right now when I watch an off it's just that flowing off me is that same dive play and guys are just making it work I like how we started the last game where he when he tried to dunk you win and he prevailed on ram through foul problem if he picked up a 2nd foul with 3 and half minutes gone in the 1st half and he sat for the rest of that but I like that like the mindset he knew what he had to do which was just get in easy pocket watch the ball go through the hoop feel better about yourself and then the 3 points are going to fall and when that things that I seen in the last game knows him as you guys are using is. He trying to attack he was trying to attack but it was off to dribble and a lot of times guys would collapse and on it was they were sitting 2 and 3 guys Adam attacking him because I don't think he's a goddess attacking to pass 4 shots so the defense is doing a great job of collapsing on and he turned the ball over a couple times and he got in a lot of traffic in a rest and give him a foul because it looked like he was forcing up the dunk because yes several people around today actually said I'm a little ball on network but I would just love to see him get around a but the way you have to even dribble we can just turn and go up with a shot so instead of throwing the 1st pass into deuce on a low post about running I put him down there I would be you know it's funny we've never seen a run a play and he 7 for after lead and I just believe that he can get that play done too I think you don't have the ball in that spot a seductive other than the flip shot and the flip shot free throw in shade Calvin No that's what it is just as he said when it's not like washing state and shell blockers right yeah you have to worry about. In a in even with a shot blocker you keep attacking those guys and force them to get in a situation whatever is Josh Hawkinson the most unimpressive 16 in 10 player and n.c.a.a. History every time I watch him I am incredibly unimpressed and you still see in the box scoring at 17 and 11 well there's a reason why when you are on a losing team you get opportunities all but they never have anyone that averages 17 anyone know. Obviously doing something that other previous guys haven't been able to do know what I'm saying is when I'm watching them play I think the rebounds are going to be there just because he plays 30 minutes a game so he should he should get that but often Sibley he's going to not easy buck is right around the block I really think that he has some of as lettuces many as some skill level where where he can get he can she do ball with left and right and around the bookies you help the Mavericks choose Him No no no no no no this is a lot of guys that get good at it Wardo dollar offer you oh so you say to somebody be on the bench or just. Strange you haven't seen him show up in any mock drafts know that it was weird so you just get a strong draft and then if Anthony likes throwing out b.s. Mock drafts on his website where it work and they work they check it out and they'll be all sports to sun dot com Ok you can check out Anthony to me now and he's thrown out some pretty weird wild projections here but there was one on c.b.s. Sports that I saw that I think is a little silly but I still think it's good for have choosing Lowry market and with the 1st pick in the draft I like Lowery a lot yes no I want to guess you didn't see this know what they want I will buy will find this out the best not the one I wrote about now I know yours will tell me a c.b.s. You pick our number one correct and Jay bill is not only. Quoted it or sub tweeted it or whatever that term is and then he wrote on there I could see this which I can't really say well no no not right now yes exactly come back with us will discuss the scandal before you listen to t. With your Mayo Clinic radio health minute I'm given Williams chainsaws a freight trains if you live with a snorer you know what it can sound like but do you know what's behind the snoring snoring is the sound that occurs at night when the structures of the upper airway and so basically the throat in particular are vibrating Dr Eric Olson is a sleep medicine specialist at Mayo Clinic he explains that when we go to bed the soft tissue in the throat relaxes narrowing the airway if it narrows enough airflow can become turbulent and that turbulence creates that vibration in the back with rock it's a common problem about half of men and one in 4 women snore The good news is that on its own snoring is typically not medically significant but it can indicate another sleep disorder called sleep apnea it can also be quite disruptive for bed partners for more information talk to your doctor or a visit Mayo Clinic dot org. You can probably think of an infinite number of excuses for why starting up now is not ideal I'm here to give you a few reasons why now actually is a perfect time to start up I'm Pat O'Brien the business rockstars minute number one don't regret not starting out all of us every Gratz in life we look back at moments where we wish we could have made a. This isn't but eventually ambitious and active people realize that regret is weighing them down remember you will regret taking the wrong action as much as you are not taking any action at all Number 2 you owe it to your idea often entrepreneurs have a great idea that can truly impact the world in a positive way if you're hesitant think the plans and some of the power and the potential of your idea it's sort of the mark you can make on society innovation and creativity the catalyst for progress and throughout the ages entrepreneurial minds have shaped the world. And business rockstars and. Games and I have this next question. People think that I'm sure there are I'm sure there are and I know there are because they tell you post something on and there they spoke you can all while they're these guys are so much better are coming back right really and but when you watch when I look at him he like a kid that need to be practicing full time as a pro you know he has not too much more off the college game so I would not have any problem with him moving on when I'm watching him play at 7 foot in hidden the reason everything like that it makes him look weird been in college you know playing that way now the one the one the c.b.s. Mock draft I wrote about I wrote about because it was great now working with 5th in this particular guys Mark mock draft Ok maybe 5 maybe 7 maybe 89 whatever that's in the ballpark but this guy had the reason I wrote about it which. Offended you Mike all very Which if you think you've got a couple articles which is why I wrote about it you can hear the lines are true 14th which is the last pick of the lottery. I know been thinking about that pretty hard. As I mean that's a lot higher been a little higher you know weeping but I see when I'm looking at the top guys the talent is there is for the score with him I think what he has to do it all he has to make sure he finishes and look good with the USA I think that's going to have a lot to do with his situation. I would 2nd that you know he looks good continue to score and you have a looks good in because because you know everybody want to blame him coming back for Laurie's a you know play but I really believe that he has nothing to do with that I do think that Lars misses some shots that he was making before you know he was making those shots so regardless of who would have been passive it's own Now the truth is out there should be easier for All right so what do you think true or sealing is as a draft pick. I go back and forth on this I He does have a little he there's there's limitations to him. The fact that he is a little bit older bothers me a little bit but at the same time I don't know I think that his I could see him go and late 1st maybe like 22nd 23rd a team like that I don't know that I see him starting in the n.b.a. Like we talked about but I think he could be a pretty good 67 guy off the bench which means the 1st or 2nd I couldn't I could see I mean for him I would think mid twenty's and you know maybe find a good fit a lot depends on who also getting drafted around him eccentric but I've done all the other mock drafts whether you like draft Express recently updated there maybe just within the last week and he's I can afford. Well but those this put those 2 together divide by 2 average amount and we're going to get the we're going to get late 1st round does he get is there any advantage to him coming back next year you know even though that he will have would have missed the majority of this season and we're already talking about and that's not us is just the way the league is ran if there is and he's a little older it makes no sense that even a comeback because you know who the 22 drafted not 21 right in right now they're looking at the g.e. Right at the turn into the Gigli and right now that's where they're to sit in those guys so to quickly get a guy could get there and start to show to be a people he can fit into what they're doing in the n.b.a. To better and here's It was the big league excuse me not c.b.s. Sports bill is still said that he could see this happening so with the number one pick Boston they have Lowery marketing going number while the guards in this class are incredible but there's only $17.00 foot sniper who could be the 2nd coming of Dirk Novitsky That's a lot of pressure put on a kid or and then just going on you've got Phoenix taken Markel faults of to be Ok with that got the Lakers using wands a ball at 3 you've got to land o. Choosing Jonathan Isaac No thanks I think there's where Josh. That they don't wow he's not this is an idiotic list they don't have Josh Jackson go until 8 to your Dallas Mavericks but you're saying would you be all right. What are you going to that I would throw on that list that I think has been incredibly impressive in the last couple weeks or so has been Jason Tatum and you he's really started to emerge as kind of that guy and here's another thing too is Duke going to be the I think you carry the Betty for betting favorite to win it all within the next week. I want to be surprised but now you're going to tackle term that's still on your decision I'm hoping that by the time you get there if you get there or by time I get there yeah you'll find some very short odds on do right and I guess it was only really a matter of time probably when you think about it. Now though the end up being a 3 or 4. What is there not enough to through the force that you want to see in your half of the Act Here's my scenario for Arizona when it comes to seating and I think this is how it could very well play out in time if you want you want them to be the number 2 in the west tell me well tell me if I'm mistaken here because I'm probably not he's I think that. Sometimes I need to pat myself but I think somebody has to I think Arizona there's a very good chance that Arizona wins out during the regular season not a very good chance but I think it's a legit possibility you've got both the l.a. Schools at home right those are the only 2 games that I can see you losing you're not going to lose either one of these Washington games and I would highly doubt you lose day as you even with the history there oh yeah. I also believe that if they alone talk I also believe that Oregon's going to probably went out they've got a game at home to Utah or with against Utah tonight but I don't think Utah is going to win that game and then that play act out there is only a game that can look right so theoretically then you could have both these teams went out and they would probably meet in the Pac 12 title game and let's just say for example just say for a 2nd that Oregon wins that game can't you still make an incredibly viable case that Arizona and Oregon are both number one seeds. Yet as you know is going to because they would likely go on depend on that score because the way Oregon beat you have made last you have is going to have to make sure that game goes down to the wire for people to believe that they are number one seed also what let me ask you if it wasn't I agree without you kind of regardless of score I think of Oregon beats Arizona twice Arizona is not going to number one seed even at $28.00 for whatever we're now with these if these 2 teams were in the a.c.c. Would we be looking at 2 number one seeds I say yes. And that's because they consider they see a better conference at the end of the day right now. Is it significantly better than the thanks Obama sent the people that matter right he did they do right. I'll tell you just keep watching I don't think I'm the top 3 you're obviously elite in the back 12 but top 5 is very very good. After that there's just bunched you could say that about they see see though. Shorter tack harder. Yeah but Georgia Tech one of the lower tire now how I see the 2nd I said that I read up probably was an in uphill battle of death that's not that's not the right answer you can probably make it case but Ok I'll get on t.v. Your boy Darvon Ham is in the slam dunk contest and you should see the him now you know I was. Probably out to 80 would really told that bad why don't you lie about the A's got a real b. With your Mayo Clinic radio health minutes I'm Tracy McRae despite all the rules the fines and suspensions we still hear the stories we live in a performance enhanced world sold so we have a performance enhancing drugs in sports Dr Michael Joyner studies elite athletes how they reach maximum performance he says it's all about oxygen delivery to the body's tissues and it's red blood cells that do that blood doping is an effort to raise the number of blood cells by taking blood out storing it and then re infuse you know later the other thing people do is use a drug called a rethrow poet or an injection of each stimulates your bone marrow to make more red blood cells just kind of the body's own factory that makes red cells gets cranked up both techniques actually have legitimate medical uses but Dr joiner suspects that as long as the stakes are high some athletes will be tempted to use them for the wrong reasons for Mayo Clinic news network I'm Tracy McRae always introduce yourself to new roads bridges taken in the city are still up for 17 all season tires now 10 percent off the fire's complete all year whatever you drive drive a car still offer valid Feb 1st 20 or so prices like that point of sale slots and his entire store installation required not to be combined any other offerings. Let's go through this I've got my list and tell me where I'm mistaken Ok teams on a neutral court Ok I would go right now I would go Kansas Yeah you heard of that Mr Ok I would go Villanova even though I think Arizona could easily not easily beat Villanova but I don't know if a small at best gig or not you can't keep up you have to go small and quick and we really haven't done them was this year sort of scares me we stay big all year I would really love for us to get about it Ok he was 20 games already right he's not changed it is what it is oh yeah yeah yeah I think about that yeah what I'd say What about your Baylor Bears Oh yeah yeah dead zone we've had problems with it is a very active zone with a 7 foot in the middle is better than his own d. For the better and last year and Lester would agree to me I think there was a better man team last year even though they stayed in the zone and it's been a team effort to morph into a zone alchemy them into a they can go man but with that 7 foot in the middle he changes the game so much for Baylor to have Motley. Rico gather who's 65 in the middle last and now would have 27 footer. Gathers in the n.f.l. Yeah you need the tide info to cowboys Wow that Fenty trick there yeah yeah draft it's interesting Ok Oregon. Kind of goes without saying. U.c.l.a. . That's to me 5050 Yeah yeah right Kentucky. Protected I was going to be a problem I mean because to me kind of sucky is going to go up another level when it gets to the time and I think they're going to go up another level I think they're easing off right now because a group of freshman everything but the same to be said about you have a watch and see what I tell you when I get to a Pac 12 tournaments when he gets it in time going to turn out they're going to play even better because now they have something to get reciting for right now they pretty much in control of the Pats well so you got to you know watch one of ease and off a little bit but when you get back to that packed well for that title autonomy title and then going to the time of these guys are going to pick up their I side with a point let me throw on your way West Virginia. I think Arizona does well against traffic in West Virginia press press for did you know which part of it is I think that given a lot of trial I do too but try to think about though with West Virginia I always worry about teams going out very early in the tournament they tend to do that and that press except when they beat Cayle Well you know I mean but you know let's let's be honest here at scale we're talking about here the pricing style while I really like it and I think that if anybody can make it work it would be Shaka Smart in the next couple of years and it's hard to win 6 straight games doing that. I mean it really well yeah but I'm not talking about what I know you don't know 6 games in a row but yes talk about the matchup game with especially especially of Parker's lacking confidence in Kadima Allen as your lead ball handler out there that yes that could be an issue no doubt about it what about Louisville is the team that worried me a little bit I want nothing to do with Rick Pitino come tournaments time I guess a more aggressive West Virginia meet Louisville what's a better job Arizona or Louisville. I think you got to go Louisville but it's not that far off not before all the goods go way back with the criminal guy yeah now the Libya right now but you know maybe an Arizona guy you know I would I go are you going to be close and you can do whatever you want to do to play you know I don't think of you that much I don't want to do what I do. Right now if they were to play tonight neutral court who wins Duke Arizona. Point Gloria Borger who is the point race in Iowa right now. And you know what I give Arizona going right now I'll give Arizona getting I think we'll play a little bit more defense than what is going to play. What do you say Anthony Well who does Arizona have as full complement of poison as his fault Oh and there's no handed juries There's nothing like that up like that all good to go. I would take. Arizona always gets up for do. I want to I want I want to see a little bit more than just one or 2 games that do can before I declared before I declare them fully whole and the favorite to win and all that that's a game where Grayson to pull out the trick. You know that because e.c.u. Of AC that Jersey based on go wrong but he would you know you Parker though you get the but I'm saying he'll be so emotionally wound up that game probably would catch him right there because he know him he gets up he gets up for games and goes too far he can go the wrong way he's been up a trip in Raleigh No I think he's smart if you go back and look at some of the guys he's been you know Chip and I am think they've been the big guys. If he's in a small to deny this Florida legitimately this good they believe they are and whenever you have it seemed as come together the way they team have they have a senior point guard whenever you see a team come together way flawed as you always have to watch and you have to watch him and be a little leery of so it depends on where you play those guys that I think it depends if you put them on the east coast you could have a problem so basically we think that there's probably about 4 or 5 teams that we would slightly favor over Arizona. What about Virginia. Now I know I know you hate Virginia but if that's I'm 60 to 49 I wouldn't favor Virginia could win that game but I would definitely favor Arizona going into that you know Anthony I think I think that's another team that would just really get in there that game where you unbearable to watch it would be absolutely that game is yeah I'm not sure I'm not sure I'd favor Virginia over Arizona but it would just be an absolute grind it. Like him 50 to 491 way or another. That's pretty much it though I mean those are really the teams that you're looking at that you know from a talent perspective but this tournament though guys is going to be so much different because you could get a team and we talk about this all the time you get a team like you would be a one seed get s.m.u. In the 2nd round I mean have fun with that all right yeah are above your I'm sure you're absolutely good oh man if you especially if you're not a one seed if you're a 3 or 4 seed are absolutely going to team like you had 2nd round out of one team that identify out because I want to see if you guys would throw that one out there now could zag there I think it was one of these kids. You know in a rematch I would I would favor Arizona which we're special you know anybody that is taking kids I got 100 percent seriously No I don't I don't either how do it 100 percent certain Yeah it's a conference is the confines or you know it's a conference when you win I think there are legit. But I don't I'm not pencil you into the final 4 but I think 3rd they will have a battle sweet 16 they could be in the lead a team and then. Maybe end of the road then you take your chances but no they're not a team you you rush to you get your bracket you go can sack you can. Provide if I don't get by through and what time does it do at what point is there some indelible damage done to can sag if let's say they go out in the round of 32 deer I mean that's bad bad luck Well Mr actually considering the history well if they would have to worry about losing more troops Well yeah but I want to he's going and I don't think he has anyway but again that's all comes up every time that he saw us to do pretty well to go with you know you haven't heard much of that right now right even with how well he's doing you don't hear the noise of him could go to school they go today for Lorenzo Romar Yeah he's not he's not going to Washington you know in the end he will be the perfect guy for what he's been able to do for Gonzaga he was able to do that I watched not only that at Washington State can he be can he do that he's he's the best of all version of Chris Petersen we're going to talk about Washington a little bit coming up here though coming up next though we got the guys predictions and I think Calvin might be going for an upset here in a significant upset back with as you listen to the t. Ana since you know it's going to day like I said again we don't want to. Get a huge point margin just because our plan up there in those guys did a great job but I'm looking at some like 782-647-8640 God that's it that's like right on the fair is essential point spread Arizona will pay attention to these kind of things well having is about $1414.00 but yeah Arizona was 100 percent going into this game there was a 100 percent going to this game I'll probably give home about 4 more points over under 3 percent chance of Washington State winning this game. You're going over. I'm going to go and I'm sure I'll have it out when I go to meet it what do you got Anthony I'll go over the 3 percent yeah I would too I would too. We look at Washington State despite them playing Arizona close here for 32 minutes. They're not big on the wings or are are a guard. They're not high volume 3 point shooters they don't have shot blockers so that the recipe how should they stash of the steam stay close to Arizona you notice how I didn't ask if this is a Tucson game because the should be this should be true so do not get absolutely right because washes data is not particularly athletic in the boat so all of things that you put together say yeah this is the kind of team that beat Arizona watch and they don't have any of that but neither did Stanford true they stuck with a while but so did you really think they were going to win a game did you really think they had a chance even today with that close right there I've never had a chance to win this one game you know I thought I thought it was in trouble because I was under 2 minutes was Tiger you know all there is on how to do is add one bad thing go against him in the final 2 minutes and you know what it is I guess when you look at read Travis is a lot better than anybody I was better than just against him and you know when you when you say to us yes but you notice when you see Stanford dead when you see those guys not winning games like that I still don't expect them to win those games when they get calls like that when I went to the games close like that I speak them yet not like of the Washington State came here the Washington game here which we went down again close with in the final to me I had never thought Arizona was really in trouble that Stanford game I did but to pick a score I would go of the it's going to be different than how the game was here but the going to end up at the same spot basically 17 points will go $7558.00. Anything to look for in this game anything that worries you about Washington state turnovers ha ha turnover All right so play the turnovers Yes There you go a little bit more about that but I don't want to see how as well as point guard play is tonight you know and speaking on that I think it was going to be one I was a tease and all too you know I got it in speaking on that the exit will be a little bit better because I think these are more natural point guards that are going to be planted a right interesting interesting do you look for a big game out of Parker Yeah oh huge game let them sit here for us I can see them having over 6 of these game and probably 10 points and this would be the game to we talked about Lowery this would be a really good game for Parker to kind of get some of that mojo back you know especially if he's forced to take on some more minutes maybe than usual I mean this would be that kind of going to be the worst thing you know not at all because you talk about a 2 affairs on it it's a pressing team in the tournament you're going to need you're in your car you're going to need Parker You need a confident Parker You may not need Parker every single game to be brilliant but there are going to be moments as your regular season post season where partner's got to step up huge that you can there's nobody else like him on the roster a true point guard is going to be games you need a true point guard to go take the ball to exactly who you need the ball to be taken to I'm going to go out on a limb and predict Arizona as well by 50 No I'm not doing any of that crap anymore Ok got to go I'm going to Arizona 81 because Washington State as you know and as I've proven to you likes to run under Ernie can't you are right now number one the last game when you try to belittle me and say the Washington state really doesn't run under any count and they really didn't. I found their stats I got alternative facts to back me up though I'm going to go either to post s.
