>> make me look bad with the beer talk, but we also have moon shine out there. not the drink, though. moonlight, moonlight, moonlight guys, come on, where are your heads at. coming offer the full moon, the super moon over the weekend where the moon mates it closest approach to the work, bigger and brighter. you can still get the moonlight shine out there. not having the clouds in center city. 58 degrees, milder southwest breeze at 3 miles per hour, dew point at 66. so there is some fog out there, starting to squeeze out whatever moisture in the atmosphere, visibilities down to less than half a mile in wilmington, better than millville, half hour earlier. temperatures milder, 50's to about 60 degrees, cooler spot, just north and west. pottstown, that's coolest number at 55. that's not bad compared to the past few mornings, couple of showers diminishing over the lehigh valley and poconos, so clearing the skies out today, bringing back a lot of sunshine, look at the rapid warm up. 60s by 9:00. by noontime, upper 70s, and on our way up to 80 degrees for the high temperature for philadelphia, mid 70s at the shore, you're 70 in the poconos, gets even warmer next few days, talk about that in a few minutes, joe, rahel, back to you. >> thank you so much. new this morning, father gunned down right outside his northeast philadelphia house while his baby was inside. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo live this morning, on the detail of what happened, jan, good morning. >> reporter: rahel, joe, good morning, yes, police say this all went down in this 28 year old man's rear driveway. they say he had just come home from shopping. they say a couple of men approached, pulled out a gun, robbed him, shot him, all the while his family was inside, including his young child. take a look at the video. this all happened right around 10:30 last night in the 5100 block of f street in lawncrest. police say the 28 year old man, again, just come home from shopping. when those men approached, now, before the victim died, he was able to tell police at least one of those men pulled a gun, and announced a robbery, then for some reason, the victim was shot multiple times. police found four spent shell casings, right next to his body, indicating he was shot at point blank range. now, he was taken to temple university hospital in very critical condition where he later died. now, it is unclear just how much the suspects got away with because remember the victim did just come home from shopping. bus police do know they took the victim's gun, which he actually had whim at the time of the robbery. >> he was able to tell police he had a semiautomatic gun in his possession and that was taken by the perpetrators. so these individuals are dangerous. not only do they have a gun that they used to shoot the victim, they stole an additional gun. so now we know they have at least two semiautomatic guns in their possession. >> police say it is unclear if the victim was able to actually pull the gun or if it was just taken as a result of the robbery. now, homicide detectives are scouring the scene for surveillance camera and videos, meantime, that child who was inside of the house is safe, uninjured this morning, and a woman who was inside the house is now working with investigators to see if she can help. we are reporting live outside police headquarters this morning, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", rahel, joe, back into you. >> thanks for that live report. a woman is in stable condition with head injuries after she jumped from a second story window to escape a house fire. the flames tore through home in the 1700 block every west juniata street and tioga about 1:15, firefighters were able to quickly control the fire. investigators now searching for the cause. >> septa riders are bracing for possible strike on sunday, more than 5700 septa workers voted overwhelmingly to strike if they cannot set contract by the end of the month. union workers, septa management trying to come to terms on pension and healthcare. those contract ends october october 31. from what i understand, they want to take us out of where we are now to put in lesser plan. okay?
