"eyewitness news" reporter trang do, live at einstein medical center in north philadelphia, this morning. where the victim is now fighting for hess life. trang, what's the latest? >> so far police do not have a motive in this shooting, the driving in opposite directions on the same road. look at the video of the scene overnight, happened just after 11:00 p.m. police received several 911 calls that a man shot near the intersection of somerdale avenue and cheltenham avenue. officers arrived to find 24 year old man lying down next to the open door of a volvo, with multiple gunshot wounds to his left side, as well as his left arm. there was another person there attempt to go render first aid medics then rushed the have i victim to einstein hospital in very critical condition. is shot squawls says witness account, balistic evidence shows the shooter and victim were in the driver seats of their cars head in the opposite directions on somerdale. he says the victim was stopped at a light, gunman pulled up, and opened fire. >> driver and passenger windows shot out. we found projectile in the driver seat of the victim's vehicle. so it appears that he was sitting in the driver seat when he was shot. >> and police are interviewing several witnesses, who said the shooter was driving a probably white car, possibly 2010 buick, also, reviewing surveillance footage in the area. but for now live from einstein medical center, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," jan, rahel, back to you. >> all right, trang, thank you >> a pedestrian is killed in camden county. chopper three over that scene on route 38 near longwood avenue in cherry hill. , one person hit by a vehicle, it is unclear if the striking vehicle stayed on the scene, eastbound 38 was closed at cuthbert boulevard, authority investigating. >> father tries to chase down carjack here took off with his car and three year olson strapped in the back seat. >> katie, thank you so much. very good to know, very good morning to all of you happy friday, guys, looking outside at an accident on the schuylkill, so this time it is the schulkhill westbound, before looking at another accident eastbound around gladwynn, very slow, that's now since been cleared, tension easing there, but now westbound approaching spring garden two, right lanes compromised kind of squeezing by on this far left lane. and you can bet that the backups are pretty substantial this is back up shot that's going all the way back to girard leading up to the accident, all the way back to girard, what we're working with, a lot of the vehicles, and closer you get to the westbound around spring garden , where you are bumper to bumper conditions right now squeezing by, and plus you will have a lot of gaper delays. so i would just say, headed up to the schuylkill, both westbound and eastbound directions, particularly westbound, give yourselves extra time, definately going to need it. yikes. look at the vine push toward the schuylkill, also letting you know how business that i is, and that accident is not helping anything. plus, you'll have sun glare out there as well, especially for those of you moving in the eastbound direction. so the boulevard, moving in the southbound direction, as you head toward the schuylkill , this is what you are looking at right there, you will be casino every dealing with sun glare, pack the sunglasses, overall for friday morning, not even into the 7:00 hour yet, still looking pretty busy, just reminder airport line, track work, doing weekends shuttle buses between 30th street and airport, every weekends, through august. rahel, back over to you. >> looking very busy indeed. thank you. this morning, 24 year old man fighting for his life from the somerdale section drive-by shooting. chem end ham and somerdale avenue just after 11:00 p.m. last night. police say white vehicle, pulled up alongside the victim's volvo at the light, someone inside opened fire. the victim hit multiple times. rushed to the hospital where we're told he's in very critical condition. >> more testimony today in a central pennsylvania courtroom where 16 penn state fraternity brothers are facing charges in the alcohol fueled death of a pledge. yesterday the judge heard bombshell testimony from a detective who alleges that someone purposely deleted basement video footage from the february 9th at timothe piazza died. district attorney talks about the alleged missing footage outside court. >> you saw the footage, if they choose to delete the video, a logical person would say it must be worse, then what could it possibly show, and why would you delete it unless it shows culpability in some crime?
