We r just had my wifes baby shower, and due the end of august. Well great. I love that. Well, you will and fabulous dad, so well see some pictures, just like william and kate. Well make them look at our pictures. Im pretty sure there wont and announcement that far there, though. Lets take a look at some really terrific weather todd. Weve just lucked out today blue skies comfortable temperatures, cool this morning. But this afternoon i think you will love it. 78 degrees. Low humidity, winds basically, fairly light. Ben franklin bridge, notice the blue skies. Other location was blue skies as well, this is jack frost big boulder every time i see this it remind me of going to camp in wisconsin. You can go all the way to jack frost, big boulder and get it look. Totally bear beach right now. With where are you . Supposed to be watching the show. But starting at 9 00 you can go out to the beach and notice it just looks like perfect beach day today unlike yesterday, with all of the rain that we saw down there yesterday. But, that was yesterday. We have to turn the weather page. And enjoy what weve got right now. 63 degrees in philadelphia. Fiftysix in trenton. Sixtyone in wilmington, 59 degrees down in wildwood where you have got that heavy soaking yesterday. Fortyone up in the poconos so it is crisp up there. Storm scan3 this is actually looping over the last three hours. But, there is precious little to loop. Because we barely have any clouds and we certainly now dont have any precipitation. Mostly sunny skies for us today, though. Temperatures in the upper 70s low humidity as i mentioned maybe slight breeze, mid afternoon, but thats it. Tomorrow, the humidity starts to come up, temperatures as well into the middle 80s this front will be coming through and i think probably the higher area of picking up some showers and some thunderstorms and maybe downpour or two would be north and west every philadelphia. Well show that you in just a second. Tuesday we could still have the front hanging around and still continuing with the same weather conditions as monday. Temperatures in the middle 80s, chance of showers or thunderstorm, and then that kicks out of there and starts to heat up around here. Computer model says not much. Weve got great weather right through this evening right through tomorrow, and then, as we get into tomorrow, tomorrow during the day should be fine in most locations, but notice this. This is a look, at least at the timing right now weve got some showers maybe heavier showers working through, not just north of philadelphia, though i think you may be finding more of them up there. But you have also got some that break out of the pack and come through this area, through philadelphia, wilmington through south jersey, this is a look at 8 00 tomorrow night. We have more that breaks out to the north at about 10 00 11 00 tomorrow night. So this is the trends for the next couple of days. On monday, and tuesday. We get the shower and thunderstorm chances, we keep it going even in the longer range. It shows looks a little worse but doesnt show that they will be scat nerd some times. Tuesday afternoon some showers, scattered around, tuesday, 4 00, some showers scattered around. And then this gets out of here and the sun returns for us completely on, looks like, on wednesday. The highest rainfall totals should be to the north if if this doppler estimate in advance is showing us. But today just estimating, just how much sunshine can we get . A lot. 78 degrees philadelphia. Sixtyeight at the shore. Poconos, 72 degrees. Beaches with the moderate risk of rip current ocean temperature is 60 degrees. And you have got pretty high uv index so, latter on the sunscreen. Our temperature today, i cant say it enough, 78 degrees. Love that. Tonight we drop down, 62 degrees, so when outside today take the pets out with you, threat them have fun day too. Eight a monday, tuesday some scattered around, and then it is hot around here, thursday, friday at 90 degrees. I am so excited about todays guest, not a veterinarian, but probably one of the biggest heart for animals that you could ever imagine, jean bauer Farm Sanctuary, if youre wear at all every animals in the h opinions l of factory farmed animals, and how to rescue them, he is your hero. He is mine. Hes also written this book, living the Farm Sanctuary life here is a copyright here, and full jen get better look at it. Jean, thank you for what do you for these farm animals. Well thank you. Youyou know, most people are humane, most people dont like to see animals such, but most people are unwittingly supporting this by buying animal food without thinking about it so we want people to think. Because people love the taste of bacon but they dont realize what a kind and intelligent creature that bacon comes from. Oh, pigs are amazing, if you look into apogees eyes, they look a lot like a persons eyes. Winston churchill said a dog looks up to you cats look down to you but a pig will look you straight in the eye. How do you get these animals . You have got two sanctuaries how are you getting the animals for that, and how are they coming to you . Animals come to us from various places, often time neighbors will see an animal treated badly or even people who work in the factory farms will see one left for dead. Or one that is very sick and not going to get the treatment they need, and they will contact us, vets sometimes contact us. I want to roll some video. This is some Farm Sanctuary video of some of the animals on your farm sanction too area. You have pigs, and goats, and cattle and that sort of thing. Theyve got personalities. I think people who dont know animals maybe or they think farm animals are just 1bla, one personality. Not so . They are all individuals. Some are more outgoing than others, some are more shy they develop relationships with each other. We have turkeys that follow you around like puppy dogs. We have a sheep named grace who loves to be petted so when you are petting her and you stop petting her she starts pawing at you saying keep going. So very friendly animals. And thats what people need to know. How do you convince someone who eats meat, who says hey i want a hamburger, to not have a tofu burger or veggie burger, how do you convince them to maybe start to think about the source that far food . Well, farm san too area people get to know the animals, already friends and when you connect with them that way the idea of eating a pig or cow or chick send just as upsetting as eating a dog or cat. Once you know them you dont want to eat them. You want to see them as individuals, and as friends and better for us, too. How can people help . How can people change the factory farming way that these animals are suffering . Well, it is just about awareness. Not buying these products, making food choices, every day we spends our dollars, and we gogo to amazing egan restaurants, other vegan restaurants, vegan foods even at main Street Grocery stores now. The Farm Sanctuary life. Recipes this this book. It is a terrific book. And it talks about some of the animals that are there. But they have stories. They have personalities. And you can see they have already let me know what their temperatures are but they also, they cant be silent, theyve got comments to make. Here is 55 degrees temperature that robin out in haunt laurel says, absolutely gorgeous, i think she is referring to the weather, though. Best morning yet of the spring and summer. And it very well may be. It is so nice. Any of these comments that you find out here, everyone of them people are just, jerry naught king of prussia, warm day, cool nights, now that is good weather. Every other comment is a very same thing. And youre probably making your own comment about how just phenominal this weather is. Lets take a stroll, shall we . We walk over, maybe we can zhitnik to one another on the beach . Could you put any suntan lotion on my back . As we saw in a story, very hard area, and the suntan lotion on, and area you can get some sunburn and today i think is a ripe day for sunburn, because we will be looking at lot of sunshine, yesterday, i know, how bad it was, i heard from so many people how bad it was down at the shore yesterday with all of the rain that you saw specially, through cape may county. But, today, trying to make up for it. And the beach empty right now, because it is cool, temperatures are in the 50s at this point. But theyll be warming up. We have storm scan3, still on the wide view. Notice the philadelphia area, nothing much going on, this is the weathermaker that youll see in several forms coming up. See it on graphic blue line, and then you will see it as we go out in time. And put the progression of this through the area. That is in just what ten seconds. Sixtythree in philadelphia, 56 trenton. 61 degrees down in wilmington this morning. Weve got temperatures in the 70s today mostly sunny skies perfect day i mention the blue line, that you saw through chicago. Well, here it is, on this map. And you can see as we go through time, we find it moving through the philadelphia area, as it does so we change from our ideal weather today in the upper 70s, into the middle eights wean start to pick up a shower and thunderstorm chances. Here we go. Computer model says oh, couple of clouds maybe later this afternoon, to the north. But still just sunshine, beautiful looking day. Very comfortable temperatures. By the time we get to monday afternoon, still not looking bad here. The humidity is starting to pick up monday. Then some showers, and some storms, start to break out. You can see with the bulls eye look that there could be downpour or two associated with some of those. Some of the areas to the north, maybe get few more than areas to the south. But i think we do definitely get into some of this rain, this is a look at monday at 11 00 at night. By the time we get to tuesday early in the morning things dry out for bit.
