A growing memorial to remember a 16monthold boy. Investigators try to figure out what happened and right now police are questioning his babysitter. His parents out of town, the child left with a nanny and her boyfriend, both apparently with extensive criminal records. Both being questioned by police. Carolina leid in the park hill section of Staten Island with the latest. Police of course trying to figure out what exactly happened here. Woman who was watching this child and her boyfriend. But really the focus tonight was on this vigil. Dozens of people who surrounded all of these candles, so many people who were just trying to cope with such a tragic loss. Happy baby, good baby. Really cute baby. The cutest baby ever. Reporter 16monthold Anthony Delgado was remembered at a candlelight vigil outside a Staten Island home. An emotional night for friends, family, and neighbors. Many praying for his grieving father and mother. He meant everything to her. He meant everything to martha. Everything. Her life revolved around that baby. Reporter hospital doctors observed possible signs of trauma on the babys body. The babys grandmother found him unconscious and unresponsive. Police are questioning his 31yearold babysitter. That babysitter has nine prior arrests. Her 53yearold boyfriend has 25 prior arrests. A spokesperson said in a statement were investigating the circumstances that may have led to the heartbreaking and tragic death of this little boy. I just pray that they give them what they deserve because i believe in my heart that they did that. I believe that. I believe that as a mother. Tomorrow. This case.
