a firefighter for speaking out about staffing issues. a spokesperson for the local fire union confirms city manager lydia pettis patton made the decision. sources tell us rusty quillin was suspended for two days. quillin is president of the local fire union. he spoke to 10 on your side in november and december about staffing shortges. the fire union spokesman says they're currently seeking legal take a look at this new video of a big paint you can see dozens of blue and white buckets in the south hill community. fire investigators believe someone poured as many as 500-gallons of paint into year. vogel was re-elected to her third term in the state senate in november. she represents the city of winchester and areas nearby. nominated for statewide office since 1989. the coast guard and virginia port authority hosted the 10th annual search and rescue forum. the event wrapped yesterday at the marina at the crown plaza in hampton. state and local safety agencies, first responders and officer has been laid to rest. hundreds of people honored 58-year-old greg gunn at his funeral in montgomery, alabama. before the service, family and friends went on a peaceful walk in honor of his life. people who knew gunn say he would have wanted that, instead of the violent outbursts seen in other cities. officer aaron smith is charged with murdering gunn. gunn's mother actually invited him to come to the funeral as a sign of peace. officer smith did not go. two men got shot because of an argument over basketball shoes. that's according to police in minnesota. witnesses say two people argued inside footlocker over some new air jordans. the fight went out into the parking lot and someone started shooting. police are still looking for the suspect - who ran away from the scene. police
