Two women are dead after this bus crash in delaware. Overnight investigators released the names of the victims as dozens more continue to recover. The crash happened just after 4 00 sunday afternoon on red lion road and us route 1 in bear, new castle county. Nbc 10s Rosemary Connors is live outside christiana hospital, where many of the passengers are being treated this morning. Tell us whats next in the investigation. Reporter well, vai, right now, state police, Delaware Police are primarily investigating, but they will be working with the ntsb. We want to show you video from skyforce10 over the scene of the crash, just to give you a full as you can see, the tour bus literally rolled on to its side. According to delaware state police, two women died and we do have their identities. 54yearold huay chen of new york city was trapped underneath of that bus and died at the scene. And 30yearold idil bahsi of here at christiana hospital. According to state police, the driver, 56yearold jinli zhao of flushing, new york, was trying to navigate a turn on the offramp from state route 1 south to 13 north. Over. In total, including the driver, 50 people were on board. 49 people who initially survived suffered some kind of injury, so everybody was taken to the hospital. Again, we know that another passenger, the woman from turkey, she died overnight at the hospital. The rest are listed in good to Critical Condition. We believe that there were two children on the bus ranging up to the adult ages. Varying degrees of severity on those injuries there cuts, bruises, scrapes, broken bones, things of that nature. Reporter about 26 of the passengers were taken here to christiana hospital. Doctors were hoping to release about five of them overnight, and a few of them are still in Critical Condition here at the hospital. We know that this Tour Bus Company was based out of new york city. And happening today, one of four men charged in the deadly playground shooting in philadelphias overbrook section is expected to learn his fate. Raheem pleasant is scheduled to be sentenced later this morning. Pleasant was part of a gun fight that broke out here at tustin playground in april of last year. 17yearold Bernard Scott was shot and killed. He was an innocent bystander. And another Philadelphia Court case is expected to get under way today. The trial of ali marsh. Marsh is accused in a deadly home invasion. Prosecutors say he was one of two men who broke into a Strawberry Mansion home back in march of 2012 and opened fire. The homes owner was killed and his wife seriously hurt. It is 5 36. A local School District is working to educate the community about Sexual Assault and abuse in the wake of a scandal involving a teacher. 31yearold bridgett szychulski, a Central Bucks High School south band director, was arrested last week for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14yearold. The allegations against her stem from 2012 when she was a band teacher at a middle school in doylestown. Shes been suspended from her job. In response to concerns and questions from parents and students of central bucks south School District is hosting a Community Conversation tonight. A person of interest has been named in the case of a missing university of virginia student.
