His accuser wrapped up testimony after two days on the witness stand. Andrea constand was grilled tr most of the day. They accused her of mixing updates and times. And assaulted her inside his home. Reporter for a second day, Andrea Constand is back on the witness stand. Yesterday she told the jury about a Sexual Assault she says happened inside bill cosbys home. Today defense lawyers spent time trying to chip away at her time line, her account of what happened and when. Andrea constands tone never changed. She remained calm and respectful as defense lawyers poured over her phone records, accused her of double checking with police on people on dates. Constand had stated to police in 2005 she thought the assault happened in cosbys home on march 16th, 2004. According to Defense Attorneys who looked at Police Reports and showed them to constand. Defense lawyers spent hours looking at cell phone records showing constand had made many phone calls until late in the night on march 16th. Defense saying it was not possible for constand to be passed out and assaulted if she was on the phone. She told the jury she was mistaken about the date. Pills. Ense took aim at she had he swaully assaulted her. Jury it n january recorded a phone conversation between herself and bill cosby. Its expected to be played for the jury some time today. He and the former attorney who knew Christopher Ray when ray headed up the criminal division. Now hes President Trumps pick to replace comey. All of these guys, that was when i was in the Justice Department. He would replace the man the president fired. How would he handle coming into this turmoil . Thats right. He will be coming into tour moil. Its an even keeled guy and has a lot of experience. His experience also includes representing new Jersey Governor Chris Christie in the bridgegate scandal. Theres a brand new announcement. Anybody associated with the governor with the case is very suspicious to me. Its something the congresswoman of new jersey has questions about. I understand the governor would want the best lawyer he could find. If thats why he had him, that makes him a good candidate for this. If theres other reason, well have to wait and see. He calls him a good choice and hes already seen him deal with tough times. His tenure during that time was marked by a competence ask an ability to continue to forge forward during a period of crisis. He thinks that experience could be valuable.
