Prosecutors said the two shut down several toll lanes at the George Washington bridge in september of 2013 intentionally causing a major traffic jam in ft. Lee. Governor christie was never charged with any wrongdoing. He argued that he was never aware that his office was involved until months after the fact. Federal sentencing guidelines call for 37 to 46 months. The exact sentence is up to the judge. Both boroni and kelly have asked for leniency including Community Service instead jail time.
