Lets go back to the report from katy zachry. Reporter were outside of Cooper University hospital in camden where inside about onethird of the injured passengers from this bus crash are being treated. State police in new jersey tell us that around 12 30 this morning on the southbound side of the new jersey turnpike in west Deptford Township a tractortrailer collided with a tour bus. The tour bus traveling from new york headed to atlanta with reported stops in virginia and south carolina. There were 50 people on board including the driver. Over 30 people are injured as a result of this crash. The bus, im told from people at the scene, overturned on to the side of the turnpike and landed in a grassy ditch. Fortunately, there are no major injuries and no fatalities reported with this crash. The driver of the tractortrailer is reported to be okay, too. You do have more than 30 people from this crash taken to various hospitals, about six throughout the new jersey area. Im told that people are complaining of pain in extremities. Again, no major injuries. There were several children on board. People who were not injured are being held at a Municipal Building located right off the turnpike. We are headed there. Flights heading in and out of philly international were delayed for part of the evening. Operations resumed around 10 30 last night. The passengers reported residual delays that lasted several hours. We checked wi ed wited with ame airlines. They been telling us theyre doing their best to get everybody moving as quickly as possible. Federal investigators will be looking at the wreckage to see what caused a deadly Helicopter Crash in New Castle County. It crashed into a Drainage Ditch in new castle yesterday. The pilot, michael murphy, was training in inclement weather to prepare for emergency situations. Murphy was a backup pilot for sky force 10. We spoke to someone who works nearby. A piece of the helicopter fell on her car. I cant i cant never forget this incident. We came running outside the office and saw thick smoke coming out of there. A big fire. I cannot explain it. How sad it must be for that dgu. Murphy was the only person on the chopper. Investigators will be looking at air Traffic Control tapes for any unusual activity. A hearing is set for this morning in Atlantic County in connection with the April Kaufman murder case. Thats among the stories were following in the day ahead. The radio host and veterans advocate was found shot to death in her lynnwood home in twoi201. The prosecutor will ask if he can get a dna sample from kaufmans husband, dr. James kaufman. Crews plucked the man from his boat 60 miles east of Atlantic City and helped him to the hospital. In delaware, the state has approved the plan in Rehoboth Beach to pump treated wastewater into the atlantic ocean. Construction is set to start in april of next year on an outstall pipeline. Environmentalists are worried about the plan, but the state scientists it meets all legal and scientific standards. And longwood garden sent this video showing the water shooting into the air.
