Racine police say the victim was playing with her 9 yearold cousin near the river. It is unclear on river or she fell in. After watching herousin fall into the lake. The cousin ran to dustman for help. Who then called 911. Nearly 20 minutes later. Dustman says crews pulled the girl out of the water. However. By then. It was too late. Katerina dustman 16 if i co uldveseen her in the water, i couldve helped her. Its heartbreaking that she didnt make it. Some of the story doesnt make sense. With the way the girl says she was standing. And that she had just slipped. But i hope that does find peace. Racine rescue attempted to revive her but attempts were unsuccessful.
