This morning and this is a difference a day makes. Conditions yesterday compared to today. Yes, 15 degrees cooler this yesterday. So our future cast continues to keep us dry and bright. Temperatures do warm up into the morning. Low to near 50s is where were headed in the afternoon hours. Right where well be watching the pats kick off at gillette. Full forecast coming up. And take a big look at the changes our way. Now have rain headed our way for tuesday, the latest timeline coming up ahead. Weve been following in this morning for you, Stephanie Coueignoux has been at the scene stephanie. Reporter well, heather, i wasnt able to exactly hear what you said, but this crash happened at around 4 oclock this morning. See several police cars with their lights flashing. We are here along route 24 northbound here in stoughton. And this is the very tail end of this crash. Right now as you can see right here behind me northbound lanes are closed. Take a look. This is video we took from earlier this morning and you can see this green car with its hood crumb crumbled crumbled. This is the car with the worse damage. We also saw two other cars with damage as well. Several other cars pulled over to the side of the road. Right now, state police confirming one person was killed in this crash. Several others had minor injuries. The crashing unit is here right now investigating what happened. Police told me theyre not sure exactly what caused this crash. Both avon fire and state police told me one victim, the only victim, was in a vehicle. But theyre not sure whether that person was the driver or a passenger. And they havent told us if the victim is male or female or just how old that person is. Now, i did speak with the first people who drove up to this scene, but because this road wasnt busy at the time, take in mind, this was at 4 in the morning, no one saw the crash. That has been a challenge for investigators as they continue to try and piece together what happened. Were continuing to reach out to them. As soon as we have an update, of course were going to let you know. Meantime coming up in 30 minutes, the different areas investigators are now searching to try and piece this together. This morning, asking what caused a pick up truck to plow through a guardrail in a boston bridge and land in the Charles River, killing the two people inside. Fox 25 was on this scene shortly after the crash happened around 6 40 last night. This all unfolded near the museum of science. A witness told us, the car was driving erratically right before it went off the bridge. In that submerged car for several minutes before First Responders arrived and pulled them out the drivers side window. A scary scene for those who saw all of this. I heard the impact and i looked over and i i saw that piece of bridge over there, crumpled in one piece solid into the water. And then the taillights of the truck went over. This morning, investigators still dont know why that scar was driving erratically. A womans body found burning earlier this week in bridgewater has been found. 25yearold ashley boatner from new jersey was found on the train tracks on tuesday. The d. A. Says it was a targeted act and the public is not at risk. Right now no arrests been made, though. It does not appear to be related to the body found in a burning car in worcester on wednesday. Police looking into a possible connection to three separate assault unless dorchester. On walk land street, a red car drove up to a woman, hispanic male jumped out and grabbed her. She also said his pants appeared to be unzipped. A second happened on monday morning, a woman jogging when she allegedly saw a hymn man in a red sedan with his pants undone. When she ran by, the car followed her. Then a third incident also happened in the morning last month again on walk land street, a hispanic manual got out of a black man and exposed himself to that woman. A New Hampshire man is out on bail this morning, after being arrested for discharging a muzzle loader in the ground behind his home while he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. This man here, patrick manly fired the firearm in close proximity to multiple home unless the neighborhood. He was charged with wreckless conduct, released on personal court. Now accused of being a drug dealer, this story broke yesterday on the fox 25 morning news, a series of thefts on campus, led police to self 18yearold dariuss room. They found a gun and ammo plus everything he needed to sell drugs. Now students are pushing for tighter security. They have room checks every october. But i think they should probably do it more often now, especially with whats going on. Curry toldnus a written statement, we commend our students for communicating with community safety. They took actions to ensure the safety of ought members of our community. And we are grateful for their collective response and handling in this matter. Foxboro Police Taking these off the hands of some kids in town there. Officers say theyre actually pellet guns. But if youre thinking right now they look realistic. About 150 people came out to resist the pipeline group. No one was working at Spectra Energy construction site while the weekend. But the group says if the pipeline is finished it will pose Serious Health and safety risks for residents. This is a High Pressure gas pipeline in a highly densely residential area and its coming in and acting as a blasting quarry. All the residents in that neighborhood can tell you their foundations are cracked. So from a health and safety point of view, its a bad idea to build a pipeline here. Back in september, the developer of the pipeline, one an imin any event domain against the city of boston allowing to move forward with construction plans. The u. S. Fox 25 has been at the scene this morning, for hours uncovering what happened at the stephanie. Morning, ive been speaking with state police on the scene. They told me the victim was one of the cars involved in this car crash. Take a look behind me, one of these flatbed tow trucks just arrived to take some of those cars involved away. And there was also a Police Officer here spray painting the road, to figure out exactly what happened, taking measurements. This is route 20 northbound near the ikea. Take a look at this video, april on, we saw firefighters using flashlights to search the median for evidence. Were told they were looking for clothing and other debris. And i also saw investigators using dogs to search the woods along this stretch of road. At least three cars badly damaged in this crash. We also spotted two other cars pulled to the side of the road. Here on scene trying to determine what happened. Theyre taking measurements, theyre looking at debris. Again, we do know one person was killed and again both avon fire and state police told me the victim was in a vehicle but they arent sure whether that person was the driver or the passenger. And they also havent told us if the victim was male or female or what age that victim is. Meantime, because of this crash, dozens of drivers were stuck in traffic for about an hour, police eventually telling them to turn back around and drive south on the northbound lanes to get off of route 24. I knew i was injured as soon as i got a safe area, i asked my friends to call for help. Reporter the 16yearold in the prime of his football career, had stab wound to his left side and hand. He was rushed to the hospital, listed in Critical Condition for about a day. The whole time i it was praying, praying to god it wasnt my last day on earth. Reporter he did not want to talk about the investigation. And Everett Police say theyre still searching for a suspect. Less than a week from that halloween night, marvin says the out pouring of support from family, friends, coaches and classmates are aiding him in his recovery. Breaking this morning, one person dead after a multicar crash happened on route 44 in stoughton overnight. Fox 25 Stephanie Coueignoux has been on scene for us for hours uncovering exactly what happened. Good morning stephanie. Reporter and heather, this stretch of road still closed. Weve been here for the past three hours. Right here behind me, you can see the tail end of that crash, about nine different crew members from mast doth as well as males state police here. Waiting to tow the cars from the scene. Take a look, this is video after 4 this morning. Can you see that green car right there, with the car crumpled. This was the car with the worse damage. We did see two other cars with heavy damage as well. Several other cars were also pulled to the side of the road. Right now state police confirming one person was killed in that crash. Several other people had minor injuries. Again, the crash scene unit here investigating exactly what happened. Police a little baffled by that scene. They told me they dont know what happened. And theyre now taking this very carefully, searching very both avon fire and state police told me the victim was in a vehicle involved. But theyre not sure whether that person was the driver or a passenger. And they also havent told us if the victim is a male or a female or how old that person is. We also spoke with the very first people who drove up to this scene. But because this road wasnt busy at the time, nobody actually saw the crash happen. They just saw the aftermath, just shocked by the amount of damage involved. As soon as we learn more information and as soon as route 24 reopens, we will let you know. Meantime, coming up in 30 minutes, the other areas investigators are looking into to try to determine exactly what happened. In stoughton, Stephanie Coueignoux, fox 25 news. This morning, were asking what caused a pickup truck to plow right through a guardrail on a boston bridge and land ear in the Charles River killing the two people inside. Fox 25 on this scene shortly after that crash happened around museum of science. A witness told us the car it was driving erratically right before it went off the bridge. The man and woman were strapped inside the car for several minutes before First Responders arrived and pulled them out of the water by busting the drivers side window. A scary scene of course for those who saw all of this. I heard the impact and i looked over and i see that piece of bridge right there crumpled in one piece solid into the water and then the taillights of the truck went over. This morning, investigators still dont know why that car was driving erratically. The womans body found burning earlier this week in bridgewater has now been identified. 29yearold ashley boardner from new jersey was found on fire and tied up on train tracks on tuesday. The District Attorney says this a targeted act and the public is not at risk. No arrests made at this point. But it does not appear to be related to the body found in a burning car in worcester on wednesday. Time now 7 06. Boston police are looking into a possible connection in three separate assaults in dorchester. The latest friday morning on auckland street. A red scar drove up to a woman, a hispanic man jumped out and grabbed her. She also said his pants appeared to be unzipped. A second incident happened on monday morning, a woman jogging on save convenient hill avenue and saw a hispanic man in a red sedan with his pants undone. When she ran by, that car followed her. And then a third incident again on auckland street, a hispanic man got out of a black van and exposed himself to that woman. A laconia New Hampshire man is out on bail this morning after being arrested for discharging a muzzle loader in the ground behind his home while he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Police say patrick manly, seen here, fired that firearm in close proximity to multiple home unless the neighborhood. Charged with misconduct. And now set to appear in court in january. A College Student arrested for having a gun in his dorm room. Is suspected of being a drug dealer. A series of thefts on campus, led police to search Darius Boodoosingh room. They found a gun and ammo and everything needed to sell drugs. Now students are pushing for tighter security. They have room checks every october. Stephanie coueignoux is on the scene for hours. Stephanie, i know that road has been closed for hours. Reporter heather it could be several more hours before they reopen it. Take a look behind me. See two Police Officers in neon coats. They were using a tape measure to take measurements of this road. The entire scene about 100 yards long. This is, again, route 24 northbound in stoughton. This is the tail end. You can see those tow trucks just to the right of those officers. Theyre still waiting to clear the cars in this crash. But taking a look at this video that we took from earlier this morning, we saw firefighters using flashlights during those dark Morning Hours to try and search the median for evidence. Were told they were looking for clothing and other debris. And we also saw investigators actually using dogs to search the woods along the stretch of roads right there. At least three cars badly damaged in this crash. We also spotted to two other cars pulled to the side of the road. The crashing unit has been here for hours now. Still trying to determine what happened. Taking measurements. Looking at debris. Again, we do know one person was killed. Both avon fire and state Police Telling me the victim was in a vehicle involved in this crash. But right now theyre not sure whether that person was a driver or possibly a passenger. I also just called and emailed them again asking them for more information about that victim, the age, the gender, were also told that several other people were injured in this crash. And also, because of this crash, dozens of drivers early this morning were stuck in traffic for about an hour. Police eventually asking them to turn around and go south on these northbound lanes, to get off of route 24. And, again, still closed here at 7 30 this morning. Were going to let you know as soon as they reopen the road and coming up in 30 minutes, the big challenge for investigators this morning. As they try and piece together exactly what happened. In stoughton, Stephanie Coueignoux, fox 25. A terrifying sight at a bank in New Hampshire. Here is the picture from police, a man showing a gun and wearing a mask held up the Triangle Credit Union in New Hampshire. Handled at the elm street blanch yesterday morning. No one was hurt but the man got away with some cash. The man is a white male. Call police if you have any information that might help. And this morning, police in framingham hope this picture leads them to a suspect in a bank robbery. The man made no attempt to hide his face during the robbery of td bank on franklin street yesterday. Call police in framingham if you recognize him. Police people in roxbury stand together in solidarity protesting a gas pipeline being built there. No one was working at Spectra Energy construction site when they were protesting. But the group says if it is finished it will pose health risks. This is in a highly residential area, its coming in and its ending at an active blasting quarry. All the neighbors in that neighborhood can tell you their foundations are cracked. So from a health and safety point of view, its a bad idea to build a pipeline here. One person dead after a multicar crash on route 24 in stoughton overnight. Fox 25 Stephanie Coueignoux has been on the scene for hours as accident reconstructor continue to work out there. Stephanie, i know part of the road remains cloechd right now. Reporter and heather, this stretch of road has been closed for at least the last of four and a half hours. You can see here behind me, state police still on scene. Theres still a tow truck. And it appears theyre waiting for cars to clear in that crash. Route 24. And just beyond that, you can see cars on the southbound side travelling. But again, northbound lanes still closed at this hour. But take a look. Earlier. When we first arrived at this morning. And you can see a green car with its hood crumpled. That was the car with the worse damage. But we did see two other cars with very heavy damage as well. Several other cars pulled to the side of the road. Right now state police confirming one person was killed in that crash. They also said several others had minor injuries. But, again, for hours now, the crashing unit has been here investigating what happened. Measurements. Theyve been spray painting the road. At this point, police still not sure exactly what happened. I was able to speak with avon fire and state police on scene as they were investigating. And they told me at that time the victim was in one of those vehicles but they werent sure whether the person was a passenger or whether that person was a driver. They also havent said whether the victim was male or female or what age that victim was. We also spoke with people who first arrived on the scene and they told me they didnt see and thats really been a big challenge for police because there didnt seem to be any up. So theyre still trying to piece together what happened. Minutes, the different areas police are now searching as they try to piece together what happened. All unfolded near the museum of science, the truck ran a red light and sideswiped a red car before going into the water. A scary scene for those who saw it. I heard the impact. And i looked over and i see that that piece of bridge over there crumb peopled in one piece solid into the water and the taillights of the truck went over. And this morning, the investigators still dont know why the car was driving erratically. Also learned the identity of the woman whose body was found burning earlier this week in bridgewater. Ashley bortner from new jersey was found on fire and tied up on train tracks tuesday. The District Attorney says it was a targeted act. He says the public is not at risk. No arrests have been made. A lady told police, a red scar drove up to her, a hispanic man jumped out and grabbed her. She also said his pants appeared to be unzipped. Then a third incident happened also in the morning last month and again on auckland street. A hispanic man got out of a black van and exposed himself to that woman. This is new this morning. A tv station in arizona reporting that the mother had set up a gofund me page earlier this week to help repair her car and on that page, she wrote that her son had cerebral palsy. Crews are cleaning up after this Train Derailment in wisconsin at least five tanker cars leaking ethanol into the Mississippi River after this crash. A total of 25 cars went off the track. Fox 25 sports. Thanks butch. One person dead after a full multicar crash in stoatlon. Stephanie coueignoux has been on the scene all morning. Stephanie, the northbound lanes still closed hours later. Reporter yeah, its been about five hours, blair. Taking a look behind me. You can see the stretch of road, a number of state police still here. However, in the last 10 minutes, we have seen a tow truck go down closer to that scene, possibly removing one of the cars involved in this crash. Meantime, just about 10 minutes ago, we received an update from stoughton fire. And they were telling us that the victim was not found inside a car but rather on the road. However, massachusetts state victim was from one of those cars that was involved in that collision. So, again, the timeline, theyre still trying to piece together exactly what happened. But taking a look at some video. We did see some firefighters using flashlights to search the median of route 24 earlier this morning for evidence. They told us they were searching for clothing and other debris. And, in fact, we also saw investigators using dogs to search the woods along this stretch of road. At least three cars involved in this deadly crash. Very badly damaged. We spotted two other cars pulled off along the side of the road. But, again, the crash scene unit is here trying to determine what happened. We saw them with a measuring tape. We saw them with spray paint. And also picking up debris. But, again, this is what we do know. One person was killed. Mass. State police saying that person originally came from one of the cars. They werent sure if that person and we also dont know the gender or age of that victim right now. Meantime, because of this crash, dozens of cars were actually stuck behind that crash. Ultimately they told drivers to turn around and told so drive south on these northbound lanes because again hours later, this road right behind me is still closed. We are following breaking news, fox has been on the scene of a deadly multicar crash that happened on route 24, shutting down that road for hours. Fox 25 stephanie is live on the scene for us this morning and stephanie, just within the last few minutes i know the road was just reopened . It had been closed, heather, for more than five hours. Taking a look here behind, you can see traffic is running smoothly, but Mass State Police left in just the last five minute. This is the tail end of where this crash happened. Taking a look though, this is video that we took earlier this morning at around 4 oclock, and you can see that green car right there with its hood just crumpled. That was the car that seemed to have the worst damage. We did see two other cars with heavy damage as well. And then a few more cars after that were also pulled to the side of the road. This morning, state police confirming one person was killed in that crash. Several other people had minor injuries. The crash scene unit wrapping up after investigating exactly what happened. We are still waiting to hear from them to hear exactly how this crash happened. But, earlier this morning, when i was on scene, speaking with firefighters and state police, both told me that the victim was originally in one of those vehicles involved. Theyre not sure whether that person was the driver or the passenger, whether the person may have been thrown out of one of the cars. Again, still trying to piece all of those detail together at this hour. They also are still not releasing whether the victim is a male or female or how old that person is. We were able to speak with some of the first people that drove up to the scene, because the road really wasnt so busy at the time. Which happened before 4 a. M. No one actually saw the crash happened, the drives pulling up to the accept. They saw the aftermath and it was very heavily damaged. Coming up in 30 minutes, the areas investigators concentrated their search on as they were trying to piece together what happened. Im stephanie couigneaux fox 25 news. We got an update on the crash, a truck plowed into the Charles River. We know the names of those killed, brian arkin and rebecca from rhode island. Police say the truck ran a red light and side swiepped another car before hitting the water. Fox 25 was there on the scene shortly after the crash happened. Around 6 40 last night, this all unfolded near the museum of science. First responders had to bust a window to get to the victims. A scary scene for those who saw it. I heard the impact. I looked over and i see that piece is crumpled into one piece solid into the water and then the taillight, as it went over. This morning investigators still dont know exactly what started it all. Also, identified this was found burning earlier this week in bridgewater. We now know the identity is 29 yearold Ashley Bortner from new jersey. She was found on fire and tied up on the train tracks at poke and craven streets tuesday. The District Attorney says this was a targeted act and says the public is not at risk. No arrests have been made, but its worth pointing out this case does not appear to be related to the body found in a burner car in worcester wednesday. Time is 9 08. Boston Police Looking into a possible connection between three separate assaults in dorchester. The latest happened friday morning on talkland street. A Woman Tells Police a red car drove up to her, a hispanic man jumped out and grabbed her. She also said his pants appeared to be unzipped. A second incident happened monday morning. A woman was jogging when she allegedly saw a hispanic man in a red sedan with his pants undone and when she ran by the car followed her. Then, a third incident we are in the morning last month and again on talkland street. Police say a hispanic man got out of a black van and exposed himself to that woman. New this morning, laconeya New Hampshire man out on bail after being arrested for discharging a muzzle loader. It happened right behind his home while he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Police say this man, patrick manly, fired the firearm into the ground in close approximate proximity to multiple homes in his neighborhood. Hes been charged with reckless conduct, released under personal recognizance bail and is set to appear in court in january. Occurring, a College Student arrested for having a gun in milton and is accused of being a drug dealer. This story broke yesterday on fox 25 news a. Series of threats on campus led police to search darius what doo sings room, and they found guns and ammo and everything to sell drugs. Now students are pushing for room security. They vroom checks every october but i think they should be doing it more often especially with whats going on. Curry said we commend our students for communicating with public safety. Together they took appropriate and aggressive actions to help ensure the safety of all members of our community and we are grateful for their collective response and handling of this matter. Police taking these weapons off the hands of some young people in their town. Officers say they are actually pellet guns, but if you are taking a look at them thinking these look pretty realistic, police agree with you. Apparently the kids who have them were shooting at a passing car yesterday. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Its unclear right now if those juveniles will face charges. Worcester police are looking to crack down on a suspect in a stabbing, police say a 51 yearold man was walking near main and grant street. This morning. When a tall thin hispanic man approached the victim. The suspect began arguing with the victim and then allegedly slashed the victim with a knife. We are learning that two british planes have now flown, british peninsula. This is after the plane crashed there a little bit more than a week ago. Boston, youre ab noacially dry as well for the cape and islands. We will take the rain. Just, most of us enjoy our weekend plans on the dry side and sure enough we are waking up to bright sun across the region. The clouds we saw now well off shore as High Pressure continues to work on in. It will keep us dry and bright, but we do have some clouds down showers. We will watch this very closely because the exact track of this system is going to determine the amount of precipitation we will see. But it looks as though clouds and showers will arrive into our region by tuesday. We are following breaking news this morning. Fox 25 is on the scene this morning of a deadly multicar crash on route 24 that closed the road for hours overnight thcht is in the past hour. Half hour, in fact. That road reopened. Fox 25 stephanie couigneaux has opinion at the scene al morning and investigators are spending time reconstructing . Reporter and they are still trying to piece together exactly what happened, heather. Right here, behind me, this is route 24 and you can see closest to us, these are the northbound lanes and they opened in just the last 40 minutes the they were shut down for about five hours after that crash happened between 3 30 and 4 oclock this morning. Taking a look at video, we saw firefighters using flashlights at that very dark hour of the morning, searching the median of route 24 for evidence we are told they are looking for clothing and other debris. We also saw investigators using dogs to search the woods here along route 24. At least three cars very badly damaged in this crash. We also spotted several other road. The crash scene officers spent hours trying to determine exactly what happened. We saw them using measuring measuring tape and picking up debris for evidence. Again, one person did die in this crash. Avon fire and state police told me the victim at one point was in one of those vehicles that was involved in that collision, but again theyre not sure whether that person was a driver passenger of one of the cars. We are also asking for information about the victim, the age and the gender and any names they can give us. We have not heard back. But, meantime, again, theyre still trying to piece together exactly what happened. They have since cleared the scene. No one was hurt, but that than got away with cash and police say this is a white male who is between five 7 and five 10, call police if you have information acon the crime. Police in framingham are also hoping Surveillance Video lead folks to the Bank Robbery Suspect. These are clear pictures, no attempt to hide his face during the robbery. Call police in framingham if you recognize him. People in west roxbury protesting a gas pipeline being built there. About 150 people came out yesterday to support the resist the pipeline group. No one was working at these extra Energy Construction sites. The group said if the pipeline is finish ud it will pose heres you health and safety risks for residents. We can tell you their foundations are cracked, so, from a health its a bad idea to build a pipeline here. Back in september the developer of the pipeline won an Eminent Domain lawsuit against the city of boston, allowing its move forward with construction plans. It happened at an apartment in lynn on fayette street Early Saturday Morning. Police responded to a disturbance call and found two men on the roof of the 2 1 2 story building. The army National Guard is accused of spending millions to mix pay try terrorism and sports. Spending money, you guessed it, spent here in boston. A new oversight report says the department of defense spend 6. 8 they call paid patriotism. We appreciate they honor the men and women in uniform but not to get paid for it. While the report says some sports organizations didnt receive money for displays of National Pride, the four major teams here in boston, patriot, bostons red sox and celtics received over 1. 2 Million Dollars for contracts with the massachusetts arny National Guard over the last four years. The contracts honor those that serve and also include perks. The National Guard pays the patriots 7 hundred thousand dollars in 2012, for that, the National Guard receives 160 general admission tickets and 120 tailgate passes that also included food and beverages. The bruins received 280 thousand dollars for the 2013 and 2014 season. They gave the National Guard access to tickets for 18 people and one executive suite for 25 people on military Appreciation Night in 2015. Before the 195 thousand dollars the National Guard paid the celtics they received 58 tickets to soldiers niengt and then an additional 40 general tickets to the celtics home game, 20122014. The red sox says its relationship with the National Guard is for marketing and advertising of the guard, not pregame ceremonies or military honors during the games. That wind though, out of the northwest, is adds a chill to the air and it will continue to be quite breezy through the morning into the afternoon but the air is dry so a live look, not a cloud in the sky right now. Currently we have wind out of from 6 to 20 Miles Per Hour. The northwesterly wind around High Pressure that will keep us dry for the day today, not so much clouds we saw, they are well off shore. The cold front will not be a problem for us today or tomorrow as High Pressure builds on in. However, we look to the south, there is a lot of precipitation, a lot of rain. We have to watch this area of low pressure closely as it will be pushing north and east and could bring us some rain we head into tuesday. Also, on radar, it is an area of clouds and showers near the bahamas. We will have to watch this close to the National Hurricane center actually suggesting that there is a 50 chance this could be our next tropical depression, something we have to keep an eye on and keep you updated as we get new information throughout the day.
