Entire home is just burned. Then if you take a look, just off to the left, you can see three cars that have been torched. Now, we are told this fire started at around 1 00 this afternoon on 20th street. The flames quickly engulfed the home. It took about two hours to knock down. Departments from all over the area came to help put it out. Investigators are still not sure how this all started. Two other homes were damaged along with those cars that we showed you. No one injured or was home at the time when this fire started. We spoke with the man who says he lives in this home. Everything is gone. Everything inside the gone. It was a small little fire that just became monstrous within seconds. Two of the other houses sustained heat damage. And the cars in the driveway were destroyed also. Reporter we are told several firefighters were they are expected to be okay. One was taken to the hospital. And we are told that neighbors helped out here with some of these ember that is were coming off of the home, spreading to some nearby grass. We are told they grabbed garden hoses and started putting water on some of the smaller fires that spread from this one. Again, firefighters are still here on scene. They are. Anchor families in Jamaica Plain on edge tonight after a man in a wheelchair is shot and killed just feet from their homes. The shooting happened early this morning outside of a 711 on center street. Trying to figure out who exactly would gun down you can see officers and detectives with the k9 dogs combing the neighborhood north of the 711 here earlier. Trying to figure out exactly what happened and why. Now, investigators say they got the 911 call around 3 30 of reports of a man shot outside of a 711. When they got here, they discovered a man in a wheelchair, dying from multiple gunshot wounds. People in the neighborhood tonight very concerned for their safety. Im totally freaked out. I go there all the time. I mean, i know there is shootings and stabbings in the area. Since i have lived here. Never something so close. With everything thats been going on lately, it is kind of sad to see that you cant even go to the store now without worryinging about coming out in one piece. In dorchester. Police arrested a man in connection with a double shooting on dudley terrace from last weekend. The 22yearold now facing murder charges and charges of Unlawful Possession of a firearm. Police say he shot two people just after midnight last week. One victim died while the other was taken to the hospital with lifethreatening injuries. One person killed in an overnight shooting in dorchester. 2 00 this morning. The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound and later died. The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information, that they should call them. Anchor a car on a collision course in hingham. A driver slammed into a restaurant on street last night. Police say the driver somehow lost control of the truck, ran over the sidewalk, and into the front window of square cafe. Two customers were inside this restaurant. They were sere youlsly hurt. The passenger in the truck suffered minor injuries. That driver was arrested and charged in the crash. He will appear in court on monday. Anchor we are following more news tonight. Mississippi police say they have tracked down the man who they say killed two innocent nuns during a robbery at their home. We told you earlier this week, one of those nuns used to live in massachusetts before moving to mississippi. The community there is now relieved that the killer has police say they have their man. A 46yearold Rodney Earl Sanders has been charged with two counts of capital murder in connection with the killing of two nuns this week. Tragedy. Devastating.
