Were told this is a fake snapchat account. At this point the superintendent says he doesnt know who is behind that snapchat accounted, inappropriate photos. Victoria the superintendent says he was told someone created a fake snapchat account, and some sophomore boys may have sent it inappropriate pictures of themselves. We dont know whether or not it could be from somebody outside, no idea. And thats the danger in all of this. You dont know who is on the other end, who creates these fake accounts. Im very shocked i guess. No one knows really who it is yet. Victoria this girl is a sophomore. She was at an assembly with other sophomores and a Weston Police officer about the dangers of sharing things on social media. This school asked police to investigate, but officers say theyre limited because so far no victims have come forward and they havent even seen any of still, the superintendent says this can be used as an important lesson. Be mindful of what youre being asked to give out there. You dont know who is on the other end of the computer. Victoria Weston Police say because they have only received limited information, they want to hear from anyone who may have anything that could help them out. One of lawrences bravest arrested by lawrences finest. Early Tuesday Morning officers were called to the home of a was drunk and armed. When officers arrived at the home, they heard gunshots. A large dog ran outside and was acting aggressive. According to police, they felt threatened and fired at the dog, hitting it once. A firefighter, upset about his dog being shot, came to the door and surrendered with a gunshot wound to his leg. Police believe he shot himself. Police say they went into this firefighters home an found several guns. He does have a license to carry, but police say that has since been revoked. The firefighter was taken Lawrence General Hospital where he was also arraigned. Meantime, the dog was treated and is expected to be okay. This firefighter is being held without bail. He was arrested last month on a officers searched his home and also found notes that threatened to attack Police Stations. Boston Police Officials and the police union will be back in court today to continue the hearing on body cameras. The union has filed an injunction to delay the Body Camera Program after Police CommissionerWilliam Evans ordered 100 officers to wear the cameras when no one volunteered. The two sides questioning each other about whether they actually want to see the program happen. Want to get this program up and started. We know were going to have cameras on. Happening later today, the new bedford man accused of killing his 19yearold daughter will be facing a judge back in massachusetts. State troopers transported 45yearold Walter Dasilva from connecticut to massachusetts. He was arrested in bridgeport last month. Investigators say dasilva shot his daughter, 19yearold sabrina, several times in july. Carrying groceries near her home. Christa right now police are searching for a group of teenagers who robbed an Apple Retail Store in hingham. Investigators say eight to ten of these suspects stormed into the store. This was sunday night. And apparently they stole 22 phones. Police say some of the thieves drove off in a car and they believe the teens were part of a crime ring. Sarah it was an organized plan, a largescale retail theft, about 650 per phone. 14,000 worth of iphones that were stolen at once. One of lawrences bravest arrested by lawrences finest. Early Tuesday Morning officers were called to the home of a 39yearold firefighter, told he was drunk and armed. When officers arrived at the home, they heard gunshots. A large dog ran outside and was acting aggressive. According to police, they felt threatened and fired at the dog, dog being shot, came to the door and surrendered with a gunshot wound to his leg. Police believe he shot himself. Police say they went into this firefighters home an found several guns. He does have a license to carry, but police say that has since been revoked. The firefighter was taken to Lawrence General Hospital where he was also arraigned. Meantime, the dog was treated and is expected to be okay. This firefighter is being held without bail. Investigators say ten suspects stormed into the store sunday night and then stole 22 phones. Police say some of the thieves drove off in a car. He says someone on snapchat was they dont know if a student or an adult is behind the account. Either way, they want to reinforce that students need to be safe and smart with social media. Police say they are limited because so far no victims have come forward, and they have not even seen any of the compromising photos some Weston Police now are asking if you know anything about this account or any of these photographs to please come forward and speak with them. John christa, this all happened after midnight on tuesday with this firefighter and his dog both being taken away with gunshot wounds. Early Tuesday Morning, officers were called to the home of a home, they heard gunshots and say a large dog ran outside and was acting aggressively. According to police, they felt threatened and shot the dog. The firefighter, upset his dog was shot, came to the door. His leg was shot. Police believe he shot himself. The firefighter was taken to Lawrence General Hospital and was arraigned. Meantime, the dog was treated and is expected to be okay. Firefighters are being held without bail.
