Anthony from tangelo park down the road says his friends up north noticed the headlines that have made their way around the world. Six murders friday, saturday and sunday. Six people murdered and killed in orlando. Eight injured. And no ones even its crazy. Orlando, florida, the tourist capital of the world, and all these people getting killed. From the busiest street in the world, international drive, these people shot and killed right here. Its crazy. Glitz on universal boulevard is right in the heart of the tourist district. The mass shooting brought a flood of flashing lights early sunday morning when 11 people were hit by bullets inside the club. One died here and another at the hospital. Were found dead not far from here in the metro west department and two young men died in a shooting that ended at the florida mall. I have a thousand friends, so this goes everywhere. The police seem overwhelmed by the murder cases this weekend. They say theyre especially trying to sort through the Surveillance Video in this case and talk to some 300 witnesses, people who were inside here and get us the Surveillance Video. The woman who was acquitted on charges she murdered her 2yearold daughter caylee wants to open her own photography shop. News 6 reporter Eric Sandoval tracked down where she wants to open it in west palm beach. Anthony wants to start her own photography business. News 6 has found out its owned by patrick mckenna, anthonys defense teams lead investigator during her murder trial. This is mckenna where he arrived at the scene where caylee was found dead in 2008. He and his wife have been helping anthony with a place to stay since a jury found her not guilty of firstdegree murder charges. Today news 6 found out anthony has filed these papers to start a business called case photography, llc, a photography studio. Its one of her first tries at making a living after her murder trial and after filing bankruptcy. Whats not clear, though, is if this home would be the actual studio or if this is just the business office. That was Eric Sandoval reporting. Residents who live in that area didnt want to talk about anthony or the prospect of her going into business. Passengers posted pictures on social media of tossed furniture and broken vases. The ship turned around today to head back home instead of coming here to Port Canaveral because of all the damage. Four passengers suffered minor injuries but no one was seriously hurt. Senator bill nelson is asking the National Transportation safety board to investigate the incident. Now to a Crime Tracker alert. The search continues for whoever shot and killed a teen. The Police Released a sketch of one of two suspects wanted in connection to the double take a good look. Orlando police want to find this guy right here. They say hes around 20 years old, 510, 175 pounds. They also released this Security Camera photo of his car leaving caravan. Detectives say a 19yearold man and another person were hurt in the shootings on cypress wood drive. Almond died because of this. Police do not have a sketch of the second suspect. Tonight were trying to get shooting that happened in the metro west area last night. Today, Orlando Police told us one of the victims is 34yearold Antonio Jones who is one of the men found dead at the stonebridge reserve condos, located on Robert Trent Jones drive. Were working on find out more info about the second man. Police have not released any details about a suspect. He stopped to get some groceries and ended up getting a gun pointed to his chest. Tonight two men are locked up, accused of robbing a semi truck driver. Orange county deputies arrested nathaniel woods and john powell overnight. The men walked up to the driver and allegedly pointed a gun to wallet and went through his semi truck cab. The victim called 911 after the men left and Police Spotted them later and arrested them following a short chase. Both are now facing felony charges. Well, news 6 is keeping a close watch on the zika virus and the fears surrounding it. Tonight weve learned there are new cases in florida. News 6 anchor ginger gadsden joins us now with the zika virus update. First, there are no new cases in central florida. But there are two new cases in the state. On friday, we learned someone in Osceola County tested positive for the virus. Today the states Surgeon General released an update on the numbers. Right now, there are 16 confirmed cases in the state. Most of them are in Miamidade County area. All the cases are travelrelated and none of them involve pregnant women. Doctors say we could start seeing locally acquired cases in the summer months when its more hotter and more mosquitos are in you need to drain standing water weekly. Do you have any idea who is behind the hacking . Not yet, although there are multiple investigations underway. One of the biggest concerns is protecting victims from possible identity theft. Last week, ucf announced 63,000 Social Security numbers were stolen, belonging to current and former students and staff members. A classaction lawsuit was filed in court. Other law firms like Morgan Morgan are investigating ucfs data breach. It just seems theres an epidemic that there arent the proper protections to secure significant harm to a lot of people. Administrators at ucf say they immediately notified Law Enforcement about the data breach and are conducting their own internal investigation, trying to determine how the Social Security numbers were stolen. The university is helping victims sign up for free credit monitoring and Identity Protection services. Attorney matt morgan says theres always the possibility the thieves could use the Social Security numbers to file false tax returns and try to collect the victims refunds. The brown tide appears to be growing in Brevard County. The indian river and banana river lagoons tested at the highest concentrations of brown tied algae ever recorded, according to our news partner at florida today. The levels are high enough to other marine life in the lagoons. The tiny algae blocks sunlight from reaching sea grass which marine life use to survive. It started appearing in 2005 and in low levels. In 2012, Brevard County saw the first major bloom. Police storm a home and fire a shot at the owner. Now a new call for answers.
