But hard to imagine wed be seeing snow after these highs today, upper fourth to near 50 north, that happened early this morning. Elsewhere in the state, 40s and 50s, running about 20 to 25 above the average for this time of year. That winter chill slowly beginning to build in across the state, upper 30s on average, lakes region north and west, a few low 40s in concord and row chester and a bit above that south and east. Overnight tonight we all get below freezing, lakes region points north and west, but it will remain dry. A light mix changing over to light wet snow, concord points south and east during the begins to intensify just in time for the morning commute. That train of moisture building in from the south will scoot on in here after about two in the morning, as a late wintery mix, but then quickly go over to wet snow, as soon as it intensifies. Notice the Northern Edge of this by one, two in the morning, not into New Hampshire just yet. Shortly after that time frame we start to see the snow and a little rain at the coast, quickly over to wet snow. Lit be the big monster flakes with temperatures right around 32, that wet pasty snow. And it continues through the morning commute through the lunch time hour. A defined Northern Edge to this system, so tupper valley maybe a few flurries. Late morning and early afternoon, dryer air builds in from west to east, so that right at the coast the snow should wind down after one, 1 30 or two at the last. On into the weekend, fairly quiet, such partial sun each day with temperatures lining up in maybe near 40 in parts of southern New Hampshire as we go into the day on sunday. Heres the projected snow totals on average. A two to four inch tally, that would include areas around concord, up through rochester, just to the north, places like milton and new durham, just south of ossipee and to the north and west of that its only a dusting to an inch, maybe two in the heart of the lakes region with only a coating in tupper valley, northern White Mountains and southern parts of the great north woods. Up to four, maybe fiveinch amounts in extreme southeastern areas south and east of concord. You notice the four to six inch band not too far away, so well follow the trend this evening and if necessary budge that in across southeastern New Hampshire. But right now two to four with an isolated five looks to be the case, snow cast is going to be sky cast turning to snow cast, in the predawn hours. Greasy on the roads for the morning commute and slick right through the lunch hour before we start to see clearing.
