A 64yearold died in the blast after a stove in her apartment was disconnected from the gas line. A second body has been found. Its a steep area. If you talk to the passengers, theyll tell you that one of them said it was unbelievable. There were Senior Citizens bounding up this cliff that the cars fell down. They pulled out human remains, the second person killed in this deadly explosion that theyre trying to figure out exactly how and this as some 49 people, according to police, are not able to return to their homes tonight. New york city firefighters discovered another body as they combed through debris of an Apartment Building in borough park, brooklyn, that was levelled after an explosion and fire saturday. Investigators say it is the second person who was killed when a powerful blast took down the building at 420613th avenue. Police say the explosion also injured 13 others. I feel upset. I hope that, you know, theyre up there in heaven with god. Reporter at first investigators thought the blast might have been caused by a stove disconnected from a gas line in an apartment on the second floor. Now the exact cause is still being looked into and the governor has ordered a state agency to investigate what happened. Police have identified the dead a 64yearold who lived in a third floor apartment. They have been looking for a woman who lived in the second floor apartment who has been missing since the explosion happened. This area is still very much under investigation. A study looked at how much injuries are occurring and found theyre significantly on the rise. Not only the number of facilities are on the rise, there was only 10 in 2001 commercially. In 2012, there were 200. Not to mention the 13,000 am amateur zip lines people set up. There was a study this week in the american journal of emergency medicine that found there were 17,000 injuries over an 11 year period. And 70 percent of these injuries were in the past four years.
