Crews are bac kp out this morning trying to fix that problem. Its happening along kennedy between gabriel and north jackies been live at the scene all morning, bringing us up to coming along. Good morning, amy and john. Around. Now we have crews here. They were having a little bit of a difficulty getting that machine started. What theyre going to do is basically drain all of this water you see here on the street and then theyre basically going to cut the road open to get to that broken pipe and theyre going to be repairing it. All this happened since last night around 7 00 p. M. When the water main, there was a water main break right here in kennedy boulevard, basically affecting right now just about a block long. It did affect a little bit about the traffic here since they have but the westbound lanes are still they still remain closed. Again, they dont know what caused this water main break. They believe that cold temperatures are to blame because of this. The good news, the residents are not under a water boil alert so this did not affect the water. Again, crews are hoping to get this repaired in the next few hours. For now, reporting live here, jackie, fox 35 news. All right. Thank you so much, jackie. New this morning, two men are behind bars after police say they went on a wild crime spree. The duo robbed a tourist, pistol whipped an uber driver and car whipped another vehicle. Good morning. This chain of events certainly alarming. Woods and powell were in the Orange County jail this morning. This all started sunday when the two robbed a man outside of the orlando premium out on i drive, a very busy tourist location. The two then shoved the victim down because he didnt speak english. His backup. Ten minutes later, the two pistol whipped an uber driver. And then police say they spotted them driving in a car that was involved in a car jacking. Police led them on a chase or they led police on a chase that eventually crashed in orlando. Items that belonged to the tourists were found inside of the car. Police eventually took woods and powell into custody. Right now, theyre telling us they believe the two are actually behind other robberies. So well continue to follow that and see if they connect them to thanks. Students at one high school are heading back to class this morning after a scare on campus. Deputies say a student had a gun in his backup. Yesterday. Administrators say they got a phone tip about the gun from another student. Down. They actually delayed the dismissal of school, too, and all after School Activities were canceled. The School Board Chairman says with so many students, it can be difficult to keep wednesday out of schools. That student was quickly arrested. Thank you, New Hampshire. We want to thank the people of New Hampshire, right . Do we love the people of New Hampshire . You decide, 2016. Donald trump and Bernie Sanders have won the New Hampshire primaries. Both beating their closest rivals by double digits. Now the race for the white house is expected to get even more interesting. Well, the other candidates who got burned and trumped are looking to South Carolina for a rebound. Some of them even tried to reevaluate their campaigns, wondering should they go forward. Heres how everything is shaking out right now. In the New Hampshire primary, trump received 35 percent. John kasich came in second at 16 percent. Ted cruz came in third with 12 percent. Bush and rubio rounding out your top five, each of them getting about 11 of the vote. Democratic side, but it was a pretty wide margin here, more than a lot of people thought he would get. He got 60 of the vote compared to clintons 38 . New hampshire officials believe the records were actually broken with the huge turn out of voters. Heres a chopper view of some of the traffic of people lining up to try to get to polling places. Traffic was actually backed up for quite a ways. Weve been following all of this up close and personal. Shes live in manchester this morning with more on how things turned out yesterday. And this was a big blow to the clinton campaign. I think they thought they would at least get a little closer than this, especially with her winning New Hampshire in 2008. We certainly thought that, too, amy. And some of the more reliable polls in New Hampshire had her losing but had her losing by more like nine points, ten points. We believe the polls who said she was tying up the race coming out of that razor thin win in iowa. Instead, it was a 22 point blow out. The antiestablishment candidates took it away in both parties. It is just too late for the same old, same old establishment politics and establishment economics. A big win for senator Bernie Sanders after his narrow loss in iowa. And a big blow to Hillary Clintons campaign. I know i have somee work to do, particularly with young people. But analysts say the race is far from over for clinton. I would be very careful not to let this define the election. After a loss in iowa, donald trump got the comeback he was looking for. We are going now to South Carolina. Were going to win in South Carolina. Senator marco rubio just couldnt recover after his poor debate performance. We did not wind up where we wanted to be, but that does not change where were going to wind up at the end of this process. Governor john kasich came out with a strong second place finish. And you just wait. Let me tell you. If you dont have a seat belt, go get one. But it may be difficult for kasich to build on his momentum. There are only two guys that have won states so far, ted cruz and donald trump. Everyone else has been engaged in an effort to spin second, third, 4th or 5th place finishes. And amy, you mentioned bush and rubio both taking about 11 of the republican side of things. Bush happy with his win, saying New Hampshire has reset the race. He has to get a bounce out of this going into South Carolina. Rubio, very disappointed. Some thought he might get second into this race up until the poor performance in saturdays debate. The next big step in the race now is of course South Carolina. That is where the candidates will be going next. The republicans will vote on saturday, february 20th. February 27th and then nevada kicks off its caucuses at the same time. The democrats will vote there on february 20th and the republicans vote there on february 23rdrd. Meanwhile, if you have not registered for the florida primary, you only have one more week left to do that. Floridas primary will be held on tuesday, march 15th. The National Weather service at jacksonville and out of the tamp off forecast office down in ruskin, showing us again tonight through tomorrow morning, a watch meaning that conditions are going to be rather favorable and i think well probably see an upgrade into a full on freeze warning. Well upgrade from watch to warning, you can see hours of freezing as we go into tonight through tomorrow morning. If we do see that warning for the bushnell area and i think we will for sumpter, expect 2 or 3 hours for freezing or subfreezing temperatures staying Obstacle Course marion and gainesville. South of that, not so much. Well have our moments, it will be a cold one, but i dont think as cold as well find, work on down south of orlando and on the orlando metro. It happened in edenville over snye. It flooded part of kennedy boulevard. Theres still a lot of water out there this morning. Crews say the cold weather could have been an issue here. Right now, only the eastbound lanes are open. The rest should be reopening in also, the federal government has sent florida an additional 950 kids to test people who are showing signs of the zika virus. Governor rick scott also asked the cdc to train more hospital workers. On the federal level, democrats are pushing to approve president obamas nearly 2 billion vehiclea funding package. The republicans scheduled a leering for tomorrow to talk about the options. And now for a fox follow up. The endangered whale and her baby that were spotted in Sebastian Inlet this week are now back out in the open ocean. We brought you this all morning yesterday on good day orlando. The mother and baby were hanging out in the Shallow Water for more than a day. The water was shut down to all boaters because they would hoping the mother would lead her calf back out to sea. Eventually, she did. They did swim back under the bridge and back out into the ocean. All right, we have the dow up, yay, up about 75 points. The other markets are higher, as well. Oil is lower and disney shares are selling off to the tune of 5 at a 52 week low. As i speak, disney is a dow component. The dow would be higher if it werent for disney. Lets talk about disney here. So the pun was way up, the income was way up. Shares or stock prices down. Whats going on here . Record profits, neme park revenue, coming in really strong. Star wars going gangbusters at the theaters and selling all that merchandise. Its a resourceful quarter, if you will, for disney, but stock down five photo 3 right now. Espn is a big unit at disney. Subscriber growth is plummetic, saying espn is too expensive. At the same time, programming costs for espn is going up so thats the focus of investors today. Also, burr berry now suing jc penny for copying something. What is the story with this . Yes. You all know that burr berry pattern, those scarves, usually caramel with a red and maybe blackish pattern, theyre about 475. Jc penny essentially selling a copy of the designer scarf that comes with a peacoat and they were warned. They say its a replica, and for copy rite infringement, but jc penny still sold that copy for quite sometime and now theyre getting slammed hard. Id be interested to see the difference. Another freeze watch for all of north Central Florida and some of that is now creeping south, the chance of a freeze into sumpter. That includes the cities of wildwood and bushnell along i 75. You want to take precautions now. Think about your pets that are outside and of course those tender ornamentals, all those plants that will get fried to a crisp because i anticipate the temperatures to be in the freeze warning of 32 degrees but likely dipping down into the upper 20s. Mild times and better times ahead. For the weekend, we warm things decent weekend. We keep the sun and fun. No chance of rain until monday. I want to also tell you about monday and tuesday. We were just talking one night as we were watching a show and we said, what about an rv . We could take our home wherever we wanted to see whatever we wanted to see. And thats exactly what they did. They sold the house and bought this rv that theyve already been living in for about a month. And later this week, crista and ricky faa will step out of their comfort zone, loading up all six of their little ones onto the rv to set out on a journey across america. We love our kids. We love other people, and were so excited to now go all across america just really loving people. Crista says shell continue to homeschool the children and ricky, a former tradesman, will pick up jobs along the way to support the family on top of the we wanted the experience for our kids, as well as us, to be able to see these things and touch nature and experience history hands on. The faas will document their experience on their website simple life full hearts. And they say thats the goal, putting an emphasis on family to bring them closer together on their voyage far, far away. I dont think well ever regret making a decision to have that simplicity because the gain is so much more than what were giving up. Could you do it . No. Did you grow up i grew up in an rv family so its not that unusual for me. We went camping every now and then, but i cant imagine cramming that many people into that small of a space. Yeah. I feel like my job as a mother is half referee, half mother. To that small space. Id be refereeing 24 7. The whole time, yeah. And talk about bath time. With eight people in that, i know people who have been, the showers usually in the bathroom. And theyre still changing diapers, too. Thats a lot. A i also think newcomers over look it. You drive up a really busy, kind of part of 1792 and think where is this romantic restaurant going to be and you turn in and behind the wall is this beautiful place on a lake. And its really wonderful. You and i, we both have a love of italian food. They do italian food so nice. You just feel like youre away in someones home. Its very nice. Its beautiful. Next, downtown winter park is luma on park. Love luma on park. To me, its the total package. Its for every budget. And you also have that 2 fer thing again where you can walk outside, walk on park avenue. You can get a dessert, share it, and walk outside and walk that dessert off. But they have great service, a great kench, and they do all the work for you. And this last one tucked away in the beautiful city of mount dora is goblin market. Its amazing. It is amazing, and i live in mount dora. Im not picking favorites here, but it is one of those places that surprises everyone. Restaurant. If the weather is warm, hopefully, the weather will be nicer this weekend, they have wonderful outdoor seating. But its another one of those places where it feels cozy and special. It does.
