Eyewitness News Reporter Todd Quinones is in parksburg tonight where it was very emotional. A very angry, scary man. Reporter thats how people who know Gary Fellenbaum the accused killer of Scotty Mcmillan describe the 23yearold. Rachel waltons step mom works at the hospital where scotty was taken. All you could see was this lifeless body. Im a mom. What she told me its rough. Reporter at a prayer vigil friday night at the gateway chump there was a search for peace and sanity. This Chester County community has been rocked. The death of scotty inside his home authorities came at the hands of fellenbaum and his own mother 31yearold jillian tait. In this case the defendants intentionally avoided anything that would have raise add red flag. Neighbors tell us they didnt let the kids play outside so nobody would see the bruise. Reporter the couple lived inside this trailer with fellenbaums wife. People who work with walmart say there were signs of trouble in the home but didnt go into detail. I should have done something, you know, i have a teaching degree. I never digit people also came tout to remember Jacinda Miller the Fitness Instructor shot and killed outside the y where they shocked. Miller leaves behind two boys, ages 17 and 11. This is devastating to our community. We cant sit and be idle. Reporter Funeral Services for Jacinda Miller are set for tomorrow. People across the country are joining in on this vigil, many lit candles their own for Scotty Mcmillan posting their photos on twitter with the hashtag remember scotty. Theres also a Facebook Page called light up the night for scooty. So far it has nearly 30,000 likes. Well, new at 10 oclock, we have learned that there suspect in the abduction of Carlesha Gaither could be in philadelphia as early as monday to face charges. A as we dig deeper into the criminal history of Delvin Barnes weve uncovered a very violent past one that includes vicious attacks on his own family. Reporter barnes trouble with the law started long before zips abduction in germantown. His former fatherinlaw who were calling anthony says barnes attacked him almost nine years ago beating him with a glass bowl as the two struggled over a baseball bat. I hope that he spend the rest of his life in jail or give him the death penalty. Reporter three protection orders were not enough to protect anthony or his daughter then barnes estranged wife. He was convicted of attacking her in philadelphia in 2005. Prosecutors alleged he committed forcible sexual intercourse jumping on top of her hitting her in the face, choking her, placing the comforter over her face demanding sex. Telling her he would stop beating her if she removed her clothes. Barnes served the maximum on a four to eight sentence for that crime and was released on probation last year. A release police say allowed barnes to attack and almost murder a teenage intervirginia and abduct carleesha freelandgaither on sunday. Philadelphia police tonight are investigating an attack on a substitute teacher. He was knocked to the ground by a student and suffered a concussion. Eyewitness News Reporter Natasha Brown is live tonight with a look at the incidents which was caught on camera. Natasha. Reporter well, we are here at southwest detectives tonight where they are continuing to investigate this incident. This on the heels of Bartram High School beefing up security adding more security cameras and police to try to stop the violence there at the school this year. A substitute teacher at Bartram High School lays motionless in the hallway after being thrown to the ground by a student slamming his head on the floor. Police say the thursday afternoon attack began with a verbal altercation between the 18yearold student and the teacher inside a classroom. The 18yearold student walks into the classroom, hes not supposed to be in there. The teacher coven front him tells him he has to leave. The student refuses to leave. As he goes to reenter the classroom to try to get him out of the class the student pushes him. Reporter when the two see each other officers say things escalate. They have a verbal confrontation. The student grabs him from his neck throws him to the ground where he goes unconscious for a moment. Reporter no answer at the victims southWest Philadelphia home friday night. Were told he was treated and released from the hospital. The incident rattles councilman Kenyatta Johnson who has been hitting the streets of southWest Philadelphia instituting programs meant to curb Youth Violence and provide positive alternatives. Forms of violence especially against teachers should be tolerated. We want to make sure teachers are safe, young people are safe and theres a zero tolerance policy against any type of violence against any teacher. Reporter the student has been suspended and is facing expulsion. He could be facing charges of aggravated and simple assault. To Delaware County where police say they have cited 10 students for underage drinking at Radnor High School today. School officials tell us that staffers saw those students in possession of alcohol just before a pep rally for the footballs team game against lower merion on saturday, big rivalry game. Police also say that theyre investigating the students in connection with possible drug activity on school grounds. A teen wanted in connection with a Sexual Assault is now behind bars in darby. 18yearold kasem hill turned himself into police early this morning after investigators obtained a warrant for his arrest. Authorities say hill lured the 14yearold victim to his home where he assaulted her. Darby police say he called them after the alleged incident challenging them to come and get him. Police in haddonfield, new jersey, need help identifying the people seen in this video vandalizing a school bus. This happened around 5 00 p. M. On tuesday. The bus was parked near the department of public works on center street. Police say the suspects used skateboards to hit the side of the bus there. Anyone with information is encouraged to call haddonfield police. New tonight, members of the transport Workers Union local 234 overwhelmingly approve a two year contact contract with septa. Union leaders encouraged members to vote yes. Its been a week now since both sides came to an agreement avoiding a strike that would have affect buses, subways and trolleys. After just eight months, United Airlines is ending service from Atlantic City international airport. Service to chicago and houston ends december 3rd. It began in april. United says the routes did not perform as expected. The south Jersey Transportation authority and Port Authority say theyre disapp pointed. Tonight president obama is sending more troops to iraq to combat the terror group known as isis. Up to 1500 troops will serve in a noncombat advisory role but that does bring the total number of u. S. Troops in iraq now to 3100. They will train, advise and assist iraqs military and Kurdish Forces as well. The president is also asking congress for 5 billion in additional funding to help fund that fight. Skies are clear across the region. Storm scan3 is showing us that. We did have a few snow showers through new york and even parts of northeastern pennsylvania that is dying out with the wind. Philadelphia holding onto 42. Elsewhere in the 30s but falling fast. We will watch clear skies translate into a cold start to the day tomorrow. By the afternoon making it into the 50s. High pressure to the south will move off shore sunday and monday with moderating temperatures. So, each day going up a few degrees. By monday close to 60, which is seasonable. And then by veterans day temperatures will be actually above normal. Its late next week that everybody keeps focusing on talking about cold air. Remember, our friend the polar vortex, that big circulation along the north and south poles that has all that cold air. Well, a piece of that is going to push down toward the south. Sometimes it gets a little displaced and our jet stream is going to be dipping well to the south next week and its going to allow some of this cold air to filter down even into the lower 48. The core of this cold air is going to be well to the west of us but it will make for a chilly end of the late week period next week. When i say chilly, i mean highs in the 40s, lows maybe in the upper 20s to around freezing. Thats pretty cold. So, more cold is coming in the sevenday. Overnight mainly clear and brisk, the low 34. During the day tomorrow, lots of sun, temperatures rebounding to 51 with less wind. It will be comfortable, better than today. And on the exclusive eyewitness weather sevenday forecast, sunday 55.
