Back to our breaking news in Camden County 12 30, a raging tanker fire sent smoke high over pennsauken in south jersey after a tanker truck overturned. Chopper 6 was over the scene. This is video from the height of the inferno. The tanker was carrying a full load of fuel before it controversy turned. This is on the other side of the ben franklin bridge the exit ramp route 90 to 130. Minutes ago firefighters put chemicals on the flames as we saw live from chopper 6. The flames are diminished, but chopper 6 has seen several small flareups as we continue to watch. As you can see they have gotten the situation under control, they dosed it with foam. Now they are putting water on the flames on the side of the road. This is an inferno that burned for about an hour before firefighters extinguished the flames. There is a neighborhood nearby people were being told to come out of their homes. People did leavement neighborhood. This was a leave the neighborhood, this is a haz mat situation. I have with me right now an eyewitness to what happened here, his name is bob reid. You saw the explosion. Yes i was at the light at 130 and union, i heard the big bang, i felt the explosion i looked over and saw the flames shooting up. I couldnt see what it was, i couldnt if it was a car by then i just went. As soon as you got here, you saw the smoke and saw burning gallons. You live right here. Yes. Have you had those problems before . Were you frightened . I dont think i was scared, it was more of an accident or anything. Reporter nobody was injured around here. No, no. Reporter you could see the flames. You can smell it, it was bad smelling before, when i first got out of the car when it first happened. This is tracy lynch. You were trapped in the house you were at work. I was at work i got a phone call from my mom. I was scared. My dog means the colder to me, as well as my kids, all my mother could tell me, my whole area was engulfed in smoke. Didnt know the location, no one knew anything, i immediately got here. The Police Officers allowed my mom to get my dog else safe now my concern is the kids coming home from school. They are in schools. Reporter different schools. Different schools. One is transmitted by bus one is a walker, i have to make sure they get home safe, nobody is allowed down in the area right now. They are allowed the people to come back, but no buses or cars. One person is dead after a shooting stay workplace in burlington county. Shots wrack out at the shields Business Solution in moorestown, one employee was shot four times and had to be air lifted to a nearby hospital. The shooter ten turned the gun on himself. As you can see behind me Moorestown Police and other authorities from around the region remain on scene. Investigator are telling us around 7 30 as the two workers were getting set to begin their shift. He had war figueroa pulled the gun and shot his coworker. He was shot multiple times that spilled into the back of the shields Business Solution headquarters thats when figueroa according to police turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. When Police Arrived they didnt know if a shooter was on the loose, they found figueroa in the back and the other man was critically injured. He was flown to cooper hospital in Critical Condition. The motive of this, according to sources it appears there was a love triangle between the two men and another woman. Are you releasing the name at this point . No, were not. Police in the Lehigh Valley shot and killed a man after he led them on an early man chase. Lets get the latest from john rawlins in allentown where the chase ended. John. Reporter hi, Rick Williams this started as a domestic sometime after a. M. 3 00 a. M. In another township several miles away. There was a Police Pursuit that ended when the suspect tried to stab the Police Officer that involved a policeinvolved shooting. The incidented started with the incident started 15 or 10 minutes earlier with the stabbing of a woman. The Police Officer gave pursuit of the male suspect. A knifewheeling suspect stabbed the officer, that suspect was fatally shot multiple times by police. Reporter good news we just got off the phone with the police not long ago, they say the officer who was stabbed is out of surgery and doing well. He was wearing a ballistic vest at the time, the stab wound was to his upper shoulder. Else out of emergency surgery and doing well. In bucks county two people are in custody after an Early Morning standoff at a gun shop. Took police 7 hours to arrest both suspects. Walter perez is live at the scene with more. Walter . Two men have been arrested of tearing a hole in the roof of the gun shop and attempting an overnight heist. It started when investigators received a tip call about a burglary in progress at mikes gun shop on levittown parkway in tullytown. What ensued was a seven hour standoff. Police chief doyle said he thought there was only one suspect. After swat teams made entry they discovered two men hiding in the ventilation deducts between the roof and the dropped ceiling. We started pulling down the ceiling and pulled it down to the point it was inevitable we were going to find them. Ment first suspect surrendered at 8 00 a. M. The second was found and arrested two hours later. It forced the pennsbury officials to delay the opening of all schools 2 hours, in the end, local investigators say this case up and down out as as well as could have been expected. This section of levittown parkway was shut down during the standoff, but it has since been reopened, as you can see. Two suspects have been arrested, there names have not been released. Chopper 6 over breaking news from 52 and locust where they have just begun taking down what has been notice in the city of philadelphia as the ice house. This is where a fire burned a week ago today. Because temperatures were so cold on that day the water they put on the fire caused that buildings to become encased in about an inch of ice. We have video from what it looked like before they started to take it down. Licenses and inspections declared the building i am immanently dangerous. There were concerns it would collapse. The road was blocked off in the area. There was a twoalarm fire at the medical building. The water froze as it touched the building. Its been encased in ice. They have pulled anavater on the scene. Its under controlled circumstances its coming down. Well be monitoring the situation at 52nd and locust. We continue to monitor the scene in pennsauken, Camden County where a tanker truck exploded after 11 00 a. M. The exit ramp for route 90 to 130. The tanker truck carrying a full load of fuel overturned and ignited and caused the fire and caused many residents to evacuate their homes.
