And get ready for the rain a flash flood is about to take effect. And now the details. The fourth and final day of the Democratic Convention in philadelphia. Hillary clinton will make history, she will accept the nomination for president the first woman to be a major Party Candidate in this country. Sara bloomquist is here with more on this historic night and this historic speech. Katy perry is doing her run through right now and this is the night that Hillary Clinton is working for for years. Tonight the country will hear from Hillary Clinton herself. And it will be a family affair. Chelsea clinton will introduce her mother in no doubt what will be a personal and emotional speech. And aides say she will lay out her vision for a positive future and unite a divided nation. Retired general allen will also speak and focus on veterans. Last night president obama called his former rival a for president. And never no one more qualified for president. No matter how daunting the odds or how people try to knock her down, she never, ever quits. [ applause ] the president also took on donald trump saying the republican nominee is only offering fear and slogans and passed the baton to clinton who joined him on stage and tim kaine also unloaded on trump, he accepted the Vice President ial nomination and told why he trusts clinton and doesnt trust trump and gave his list of promises. When donald trump says you know what well change after 225 year and punish people because of their religion, if its muslims this week it could be mormons next week. Kaine calls it a dangerous race with an extensional choice for the country and that its mostly false stuff and ignited a firestorm yesterday when he encouraged russia to find and make public missing emails deleted by clinton and he seemed to back away from that saying he thought russia was behind the recent dnc hack and called president putin a better leader than president obama and he will be campaigning in ohio today. Clinton will have more star power on her side, Lenny Kravitz and lady gaga and d. J. Jazzy jeff are coming together for a concert. Here is more on the show being billed as camden rising. Reporter that is right. Camden rising is the name of this concert. And its a stage to show how camden is on the up and up. Behind me here this is what it looks like outside of the pavilion, people are steadily funneling in and we spoke with many that are proud to call camden home. They were lining outside of the pavilion as early as 10 00 a. M. On the last day of the dnc, camden is in the spotlight. The city is hosting the appropriately titled, camden rising concert. The show is put on by congressman Donald Norcross and to show off how camden is again rising. The Education System is improving dramatically, and public safety. President obama came here to show its a model on how to deal with urban issues. The 76ers new Training Facility and campbells field and adventure aquarium. It gives us a sense of pride and its great to see the city come back. Another change coming to camden is at this park. Its in between the baseball stadium and aquarium. A 1 billion project where they put in a hotel, apartments and restaurants and retail. Its good for the community and we welcome everyone to come. There are protesters of that slogan and the fact that the city is on the rise and ill have more on that in our Coverage Later this evening. Many have come to philadelphia this week to make their voices heard during the dnc and pitched tents in fdr park during their state and police say they have been mostly peaceful. The secret service arrested seven people after entered a secure zone outside of the Wells Fargo Center. And more were arrested after taking part in a sitin. And four people attached themselveses to a rail at the Comcast Center city. Its a lot of energy and not everyone knows how to channel that efficiently. That is representative of everyone as a whole because they tried to cut open a fence. But its at least a passion. Others tell us they are not protesting at all but celebrating and keeping people inspired. Philadelphia police and Pennsylvania State police are on patrol keeping everyone safe while exercising their First Amendment right. And Katherine Scott spoke to local delegates about what this convention meant to them. The excitement is building for these delegates, it was a late flight last night and another jam packed day today. Its an unbelievable privilege to be a part of history. Pennsylvania delegates met over bacon and eggs this morning. The last day of the dnc and tonight they look forward to being there as Hillary Clinton formerly accepts her partys nomination. Its going to be exciting tonight because its going to be the first woman president ial nominee of a major party than is a piece of history we are taking part of. And pat boyle is not alone wishing it was another candidate here. We have to keep the revolution going, i dont think it should end just because Bernie Sanders is not the democratic nominee, in order to do that the people that support him need to stay involved and keep his message alive. Katie mcginty addressed the pennsylvania delegates this morning and is getting a prime speaking spot tonight. And she is focusing on the needs of the working family. When we pull together nobody beats america, when we give people a chance and pay people a decent wage, we can out compete anybody else in the world. But people are looking forward to hearing from clinton herself. And having gun along the way including attending the camden rising concert this afternoon. Hope to have a great time. Reporter we are setting the table for drenching downpours, can you feel the heat and humidity building on the terrace and we check out stormtracker 6 live double scan a couple of corners of the neighborhood are experience what is to come later on. Spotty showers or thunderstorms here or there. And popping up over the last 20 minutes or so. One in northern Chester County and one in Cumberland County and additional action to the west and as they grow in the afternoon and expand well be on the lookout for flash flooding where larger slow moving storms are dumping a lot of storms and rain occurs. Can you see more pronounced precipitation and later in the afternoon and tonight and then overnight more widespread rain is possible and there is a Flash Flood Warning that has or watch that has been posted. This was posted at 6 00 tonight but there is an increasing worry about some thunderstorms forming even sooner, now its bumped up to 12 00, only an hour and a half before it kicks in. And goes all the way to friday evening, between now and then we see 1 to 3 inches of rain and neighborhoods could get that much rain in a hurry. 88 in washington and 91 in philadelphia and about the same in new york and the dew points are definitely a factor, i know it says 67 in philadelphia, but there is a lot of the region in the 70s, that is oppressive humidity and an indication of how saturated the atmosphere is. A possibility of strong storms as well with wind damage associated with those in parts of the region, ill go over that again and future tracker 6 plotting the storms in the accuweather seven day. That is kind of nonsense, when we go into these countries and i go in often. We address these issues. I think that we democrats shouldnt stoop to his level. I think we have to talk about the issues and the good part about hillary is she puts the issues on the back burner on the front burner. If you look at the actual underlying truth, donald trump hires women and has always hired women and has them in executive level positions and pays them as much or more than men. Look at the election and there is one clear choice. We want a candidate that i would trust with National Security issues and a real plan for job creation and supporting small businesses. Donald trump believes in picking yourself up by your boot straps and a need to help women but a global approach to improving america as a whole. Fiery right . That is a song i think meteorologist, david murphy is here now with a check of the forecast. Things are starting to heat up up there and start to cook rain wise as well. Looking at stormtracker 6 live double scan, we do have a speckled pattern of precipitation, and all of this is showing up in the last half hour, its that time of day where we start to form the thunderstorms when you have a weak disturbance moving through and all the heat and humidity we have building. Obviously when storms form they are slow moving and have the capability of grabbing on to the moisture and putting down heavy downpours. That is what we have got right now in coatesville and close to downingtown. They are already seeing some rain season you are about to get thumped with this heavy cell and they are moving so slowly it will take a while to get past any given area and a lot of you will get stuck under this. Your neighbors down the road wont have it but you will. And you could see flooding developing on creeks and definitely poor drainage roadways. One is popping up near lees port and i want to go farther south when we stop showing you the motion there, there is another cell that popped up the one crossing the bay that we showed you earlier toward bay side in Cumberland County, and its second one popped up in the last five minutes, just north of port penn and salem, new jersey you are liable to start seeing that one. These may grow in size as well. If we go out wider another cluster north of baltimore and another cluster south of lancaster and east of gettysburg, and its all heading in our direction. As we look outside we have sky 6 hd center city no rain in Center City Just yet but it feels like it could rain with all the heat and humidity, can you really tell as soon as you step outside. 91 is the current temperature and dew point 67 and we were in the 70s earlier this morning. A lot of areas are still in the 70s. Its feeling humid. Wins out of the southsoutheast at 5 miles per hour. Future tracker 6 showing you from now until 3 00 there is a better chance of more pronounced showers and thunderstorms developing and they push through by 6 00. We are looking at the downpour variety of storm. Same for 7 00 tonight and we could get strong storms to the south and a lot of the area getting drenched and a slight chance of Severe Weather and this is an update that just came out from the storm prediction center, we were looking at the line at dover and now pushing it toward wilmington and Cumberland County and half of cape may county. This is the area where if you see a thunderstorm it will produce strong gusty winds and maybe wind damage. 93 in philadelphia and 93 in allentown, down the shore low 80s. And the rest of the afternoon may not be thunderstorming and raining all at once but you get a shot at it straight up until 10 00 and we dip into the 70s tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow more of the same, this is the overnight view, tomorrow morning there could be showers and even though the strength of the shower activity is not as bad we could have lingering flooding from all the heavy downpours tonight and overnight and the flood watch that kicks off at 2 00 is not expected to be dropped until later tomorrow. Some storms could produce gusty winds especially the southern half of the region, tomorrow lingering flooding as the storms and thunderstorms die down, not as hot at 82 degrees but if you walk around or drive around and you encounter flooding conditions stay away. Dont walk or drive through them. For the coming weekend low to mid80s and more of a chance of showers and thunderstorms on sunday. So a slight break well take it. Thank you david.
