President bush asians are in final stages. Of course the lights are set to go on at 9 oclock tonight with Hillary Clinton and do and trump of course facing off for the very first time. We met a student who attends college here at hofstra from northeast philadelphia and she says this will be an experience she will never forget. Well, its chaotic but its a great experience. As a journalism Political Science major this is like the olympics for me. Its really such a unique opportunity for students and it gives them a chance to understand they can be part of history, you can you know, they dont have to just watch it from a distance, they can play a part. And the dynamics heading into tonights all important president ial debate are starting to take shape. Several new polls have come out in the last 24 hours then really show just how tight this race is. Many of the National Polls are frankly as tight as it gets razor thin margins and its playing out in the battleground states. A new cnn poll out this morning shows Hillary Clinton 45 percent, donald trump 44 percent in the state of pennsylvania well within the margin of error here. Obviously it doesnt get any closer than that. That also signifies a major loss of support for Hillary Clinton who led in pennsylvania as recently as a few week ago. I caught up with one hofstra political expert today who said you know what, pennsylvania could just decide this thing. Because of the way the polls are trending pennsylvania is ah emerging as what we call Hillary Clintons fire wall. Its the place that she now cannot afford to lose. Well, you Better Believe both candidates know that. It is why we have seen Hillary Clinton and her surrogates and donald trump and his representatives so many times over the last several weeks. Coming up at 4 30 well herey from some of those high profile is your gates and supporters of both candidates who have been involved with getting them ready for tonight. Well get some insight into just how clinton and trump are preparing right now. Yeah, the stakes they are high and we are again about five hours away from the start of that debate. Not holding any moisture yet or at least releasing the moisture. Thats going to hold off until a little later this evening and overnight. Temperaturewise 71 in philadelphia, 71 in millville. And donald trump has repeatedly insisted that he has not really prepared for tonight. But we are hearing from inside his camp Rudy Giuliani is actually here and of course you know is a part of the campaign on the inside and he says they have been preparing and they have been doing that by focusing on the issues. Weve been spending a good deal of time over the last really two or three months just going over the issues and talking about the different strategies that he has for how hes going to improve the economy, turn america in the right direction since 70 percent of our people believe were going in the wrong direction under president obama and Hillary Clinton. Well, we also caught up with someone familiar with how Hillary Clinton debates. David was the former Senior Adviser to barack obama when barack obama was debating Hillary Clinton eight years ago. David bluff is helping clinton prepare for donald trump but he says shes good but this is a tough task. Most important thing is to focus on yourself. What do you want to do. Then honestly you have to prepare for your opponent. Trump is complicated. You have to prepare for genteel and aggressive trump. So it is complicated. Yeah, complicate is there one way to describe it. Theres so much focus on the policies and how theyre preparing to talk about specifics tonight but americans will be watching for the interplay, how do they relate and connect with each other. Right. And with the audience at home and one kind of inning anecdote these candidates might know a whole lot about each other but the last time they met face to face was reportedly all the way back in 2005 at Donald Trumps wedding. The whole stretch of the schuylkill again east and westbound at a crawl right now, too. Few incidents to tell you about out there. The first one is in willow grove, 611 and moreland road we have an accident to report to you. And over on 352 at west chester pike and stone ham drive an asked as well. And over in haddington 52nd street and arch street another accident to report. Taking another live look outside we have 95, this is the southbound lanes in the Construction Zone at cottman avenue. You can see slow going southbound but really that bigger delay in the northbound lanes as youre making your way up to woodhaven right now taking about 24 minutes to do that commute. And taking a look outside at the ben franklin bridge, we had construction out there all day long but that has cleared so you can see both directions looking pretty good right now. Other bridges across the region as well nice and clear. You might tap your brakes heading over into new jersey in those eastbound lanes towards 42 and heres a live look at the 42 freeway. You can see if youre heading southbound a little heavier in volume if youre making your way down towards the Atlantic City expressway right now but theres northbound lanes heading towards the walt whitman bridge flies and clear. Well bring you an update in the 5 oclock hour. Back to you rick and monica. Thank you autumn. Clouds are rolling and parts of our area could get rain tonight. Thats right. Meteorologist adam joseph. Lets talk about the first long week of fall here. I think its going to be wet. Wet at time. Not a lot of sunshine. Where you see it get out and run and enjoy. Dont run literally just get outside and ill just walk. Take a look right now at the action cam which is down in wilmington. Earlier today over the brandywine creek. You can see a little mixing there of the clouds with a little pop of blue at times. Again the brighter part of the day was early this morning and then those clouds raced in late morning and afternoon. Storm tracker6 live double scan within the cloud cover not finding any precipitation just yet. Thats going to hold off for another few hours before that rain arrives from the west. But this morning it was a chilly one. In mount pocono near frost at 35 degrees, allentown 42, millville a fall 46, wilmington 48 and philadelphia matching yesterdays morning low at 53 degrees. Numbers have come up despite we have that cloud cover. Lower 70s from wilmington, philadelphia, trenton to the south and east. A couple of things going on here. This was the last area to see the clouds come in so temperatures a little warmer, also southeasterly wind bringing in off of that warm ocean of 72 degrees. Where the clouds came in quicker its cooler to the north and west up are 60s in the poconos its just 59 degrees. Satellite and radar pretty wound up system almost looks like a comma shape which is very typical as we go into the fall season as these systems wind themselves up and you can see that trailing front is holding a lot of that moisture. So, that front will be approaching here very late tonight at 11 oclock. There could be some patchy drizzle developing in spots but the steadier of the rain is going to hold off until the midnight hour or just thereafter, 3 oclock in the morning. Some pockets of moderate to even heavy rain at times. That pushes off the coast for the morning rush hour but the roads will still be damp, number one. Number two lingering showers and drizzle north and west with returning sun to their north and west. Take a little extra time tomorrow morning with those wet roads but by the afternoon tomorrow that sunshine taking control once again from the north to the south as we begin drying out temporarily here tomorrow late morning and afternoon. So really what to expect overnight into early tomorrow morning. The rain begins near midnight. The heaviest is before dawn were looking at about a quarter to a half an inch of rain across the area with just some lingering drizzle or showers from that morning rush in new jersey and delaware. Then as we go through the rest of the week especially later on in the week on wednesday, this upper level low near chicago and associate associated surface low will be sinking to the south but its going to be cut off from the main river of air that pushes the system called the jet stream so it is going to slowly migrate and drift by here thursday and friday which means it turns very unsettled at the end of the week with a good chance for some much needed rain. So, the exclusive accuweather 7day forecast early showers tomorrow giving way to afternoon sun at 75. Quickly turns cloudy again on wednesday that system drops in late showers of 77 and then period of rain thursday into friday, low temperatures i mean temps in the low 70s. Could see an inch or two of rain between those two days. Some lingering showers on saturday at 73. Roche shanna begins at sundown. Partly sunny on monday 75 degrees. So a again a little bit of a pop of sun here or there in that seven day so take advantage of it when you see it. Absolutely. Thank you. Thank you adam. Quick break.
